Seems to me like another tv show aimed at those with an IQ of 10 and a gold medal in watching shite. But I could be wrong of course.
I would not normally watch a show like this, but it is done in a clever way, the humor is tongue in cheek, the kids are extremely talented and not stereotypical, and Jane Lynch pulls it all together with her over the top performance. (Her rendition of Vogue was fascinating.)
It's just a fun show, with a little melodrama, and very well done.
Not everything in life has to be serious and relevant.
Did anyone watch the season finale? Loved it! I'm glad they sang "Don't Stop Believing" again, loved "To Sir, With Love" and omg, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's version of "Over the Rainbow"!
I watched it. I am constantly amazed by that show. Very well done.

Yes. That may very well be the best scene that show ever produces. Yes. Meh... BluEyes totally nailed it! Me...not so much.
One of the best Glee episodes ever which impresses me because Jane Lynch's character is my favorite and she was non-existent.
I love her too and am amazed that I didn't feel something was lacking without her, but again... we got some big Idina time, so I was blinded by love. It was sort of nice for them to give the Sue and Will thing a break. I have a hard time playing faves... every guest is better than the next, Idina, Neil Patrick and Kristen C... just awesome. For a Broadway Geek like me this show is aces.
I love Neil so much that my car's name is Stinson. My first car was Barney (because of its colour) and it seemed fitting to name this one Stinson, in honor of his HIMYM character, Barney Stinson. And yes, Stinson is only my second car at my age. I marry my vehicles. Good lawd am I a dork or what? On so many levels?
Good: The scene with Kurt's dad and Finn was awesome.
Bad: I can't believe that Rachel and her mother's parting duet was Poker Face. Ugh.
Funny: Finn in a red rubber shower curtain dress
And who else knew Puck was going to sing Beth after his speech?
I couldn't figure out the Poker Face thing either, AND it was a pretty odd arrangement, but it was Idina so what was I saying? Maybe trying to say that they were hiding their real feelings, but line line about "bluffing with my muffin" blew that theory.
And I absolutely have nothing but the ultimate respect and admiration for the portrayal of the relationship between Kurt and his dad. It has been low-key, without any unnecessary "GAYness" that you see in so many other shows. Kurt's gay and his Dad is straight. It's just not a "BIG DEAL" on Glee. It's about time there was an accepting parent on prime time.
I just loved the whole Ga Ga/Kiss thing... it was fun and the songs were the best.
Agreed. I love Idina Menzel and when she first came on the show, I noticed how much she looks like Lea Michele (Rachel). How can those two not be related?!?!
It's freakish how much they do. BDH and I were just commenting on that last week —- he was actually watching in honor of Neil Patrick Harris. Apparently, nobody hates Neil, even pop-culture free 50 year old men.
And I cannot imagine the show could be better than last week. Between Dream On and the Safety Dance flash mob, I was almost giddy.
