Likewise, if'n yours goes, we'll be shakin' We've got a pretty progressive tsunami awareness program going up here. We've been putting up tsunami inundation zone signs, only problem is people have been stealing the signs...

I'm more interested in a more regional cause related to the subduction zone that bunni boi and I share along our coast.

Through wet years and dry the lake levels rise and fall and when they rise, the trees die as their roots drown (except for cypress trees whose roots put out "knees" above the water level so they can breathe). When scuba divers first started to explore Lake Tahoe they were surprised to find the stumps of trees over 100 feet below the surface, evidence of droughts much more severe than the one's we are currently undergoing. Walking some every day can protect us from "peripheral arterial disease", which basically means poor circulation in the legs...
AND, staring at a computer screen too long causes inflammation of the conjunctiva (the thin membrane covering the eye), resulting in bloodshot, irritated eyes in the short term, but in the long run, it can accelerate the development of cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma and accompanying optic nerve damage, so try to spend five minutes every hour without staring at the computer monitor...

Hey! You people do what I tell you to now, dang it! Do some of them there exercises listed above... just relax, listen to Radio Paradise, and do them there exercises... they won't take long, and you will notice immediately how much more limber you are... if you do them consistently, they will build strength, also...
I gotta go wash feet right now... but I will still be listening to Radio Paradise... it makes me sound so so sophisticated among the ladies... and I been dancing all morning...
I do yoga every morning, stretch and lift weights and do aerobic exercise at least 2x/wk. And it has almost 100% cured me of the terrible pain I had running down my right side, and debilitating me.

here are some data about back exercises... these will help you keep your spine strong and limber... establish a pattern to do these every day, or every other day, if you can—
shrugs- shrug your shoulders all the way up, then move them all the way back, then bring them down... do this slowly, ten times...
side bend neck stretch- tuck your right arm behind your back, put your left hand on the top of your head, with your left hand on your head, pull your left ear down to your left shoulder, hold for five seconds, then rotate chin to left shoulder for an additional five seconds... do this five times, then do it all over on the right side for five times... repeat on both sides one more time for a set of five... (two sets of five times on each side...)
rhomboid stretch- sit with your ankles touching... lean forward and cross your arms straight over your legs, then widen your legs at the knees... hold the stretch for 10 seconds and repeat 10 times...
long sitting trunk rotation- sit with your left leg straight and bend your right leg across your left leg, basically where your right ankle will be on top of your left knee... put your left hand on your right knee, then turn around and reach behind you with your right hand... hold this stretch for 10 seconds... complete two sets of five reps on both the right and left sides...
