Here's a picture of the World's Largest Ball of Twine I saw on Sunday when we drove thru Darwin Minnesota (pop 264). Its sitting right by the street, across from a small city park. The twine was collected by the late Francis A. Johnson, a state senator's son during the course of his adult life.

Man, that's the kind of stuff I like to see. The Klan shows up and everyone ignores them.

I grew up in Montgomery. Klan marches brought out tons of protesters and riot police. Which was appropriate of course, but it gave them free publicity and a degree of validation. Ignoring them is more effective.

I know most of the people in this photo. (I'm off to the left somewhere.)

A haven for geeks of all kinds. We even have an Apple Authorized Dealer.

Our beautiful mountain. It holds the claim of the Most Climbed Mountain in the world*. *Fuji is taller, and has more visitors, but they don't walk all the way up like our visitors do.

Anyone looking for and Idyllic home, this is it.

How beautiful!!!! I could stand living like that...at least for awhile, although I love my city with big shoulders.
