I liked the music service, but ran out of space rather quickly when storing my music collection. So I switched to a NAS (those have become a lot cheaper and allow the music collection to be used by multiple computers/users). You can get 3TB of space for a very reasonable price.

Of course with Google you (probably) don't have to worry about backups.

This Chromebook set up just gets better and better. The thing comes with 100gb of cloud storage (Google Drive), free for 2 years. After that you pay for storage: $5 per 100gb per month. Music storage however, is separate - Google Play is the app you use to buy and stream music from the cloud and the basic version is free and allows you to store up to 20,000 songs in the cloud. That storage is in addition to your Google Drive space. Sweet.
