The context is "who are those evil election-interfering Russians to tell us what we can or cannot do in our own backyard. The, arguably perverted, Monroe doctrine after all dictates what we can/should do in our backyard." Aside from Coulter's nativist cravings.

What can be done is pretty clear in the recent news cycle (and long before that). And unfortunately puppet Canada (and others) are eager to chip in. Maybe they'll ease up on those tariffs?

The US has imposed sanctions on Venezuela's state-owned oil firm PDVSA and urged the country's military to accept a peaceful power transfer.

National Security Adviser John Bolton said the action meant that President Nicolas Maduro and his allies could "no longer loot the assets of the Venezuelan people".
