Fear not, I'm ready for em.  Sorry to say that they would really be disapointed when they get here though, nothing but howling coyotes and chemtrails out here.

Seaworld is gone.  Cedarpoint bought it from Six Flags which bought it Anheiser Busch which bought it from Seaworld of San Diego.  Geauga Lake is closed and almost completely torn down and Seaworld is now just a water park owned by Cedarfair, which bought Six Flags.

Don't know this Jill, but know lots of people from Cleveland Heights HS

The point is about 10 miles east of Cleveland Hopkins Airport or just about Downtown Cleveland.  I am very familiar with the commercial high altitude routes over the city and the trails do not exhibit the usual east west direction of these flights.  There is no reason for commercial aircraft to be in this area and it is not in the usual take off and landing patterns for Hopkins or Burke Lakefront for that matter.

One more reason the paths may seem unusual: atmospheric conditions may have been unusual on that day, at least at the altitudes the airplanes were flying. They fly high enough that without a contrail you usually wouldn't notice them. When conditions change to favor contrails the paths become apparent, but not because there are airplanes where there didn't used to be—the airplanes that are usually there just suddenly started leaving evidence of their passing.

There are websites that have the air traffic patterns that allow you to animate it. do enough and you see the traffic lanes the Airlines use, and the more random squiggles of private planes as they flit about.
Transpose those lanes over your sat view and wallah, they match up.

I suspect I don't know why I'm bothering, but what the hell.  As per Lazy's link below, those are "persistent" contrails, meaning they weren't necessarily formed at the same time.  Next, commercial aviation routes commonly follow specific corridors, many of which converge at specific locations (primarily for ease of navigation: those convergence points are easily and quickly identified to various nav systems, now mostly GPS).  That is, there are a relative few points in the sky through which many flights pass.  In the case of this particular photo, that point also happened to be at an altitude at which all of these flights (all either climbing or decending, which would also not be uncommon at a given waypoint) began or ceased to leave contrails.

That or there's a Stargate there. . . .

Please explain the purpose or circumstance of these contrails that either converge to a specific point or begin to diverge from the specific point that this picture clearly illustrates.  There are at least 3 trails that meet at the point and end or begin, take your pick.  I can offer no explanation other than there they are.
