Do you know Jill Jurek (long ago maiden name)
Seaworld is gone. Cedarpoint bought it from Six Flags which bought it Anheiser Busch which bought it from Seaworld of San Diego. Geauga Lake is closed and almost completely torn down and Seaworld is now just a water park owned by Cedarfair, which bought Six Flags. Don't know this Jill, but know lots of people from Cleveland Heights HS

One more reason the paths may seem unusual: atmospheric conditions may have been unusual on that day, at least at the altitudes the airplanes were flying. They fly high enough that without a contrail you usually wouldn't notice them. When conditions change to favor contrails the paths become apparent, but not because there are airplanes where there didn't used to be—the airplanes that are usually there just suddenly started leaving evidence of their passing.
