That's a good point - kind of what I did with the football question, without thinking about it.  I had two seconds left when I thought "oh, f—- it, Joe Montana" - so I got points, but not many, but had I been wrong, I would have lost them.  So it seems to be an adequate strategy.  That, and not jumping three feet in the air when the reminder pops up!

Evidently if you don't know the answer you should let it tick down and you'll lose fewer points, right? If you answer wrong, quickly, you lose everything you would have won if you'd been right? So it's painful to make a mistake thru haste. I'd have 1000 more points if I'd re-read.
