Back in the day - after the refinance and the new flooring, and the ballet-bar... I used to do my stretches to this song. Lights off, candles lit, and the smell of pine trees wafting through open windows... I have only good memories of this song - so smooth, slick, and magical... Love Bryan Ferry, and his new music re-ignites my passion for what music can do to motivate a soul.
She was way too young to go, but it seems like she knew how to enjoy her life (with the simple things)

Cynaera Posted Apr 05, 2011 - 01:20 in song comments for Led Zeppelin — The Battle of Evermore Total 10. I remember when my parents would take off for good fishing territory, leaving the house to me. I'd put this album on and sit at the end of the hallway where the stereo was, and just close my eyes and dream... It was before I'd ever read Lord of the Rings, but it moved me in ways I didn't understand until much later... Say what you want about this song, or this album - it kicked my creativity and made me realize that I wanted to be a writer. I love this whole album.

Sad and sorry to see a memorial that served not only as a tribute but as an inspiration become unappealing.
She deserves better.

Cynaera Posted Oct 12, 2010 - 22:47 in song comments for Pink Floyd — Fearless I. Am. Astonished. Romeotuma - you play guitar! And what's even better is that you KNOW guitar. I now have even more respect for you. This is just wow times ten. So - can you help me with Dan Fogelberg's "Aspen/These Days"? I had the book, but it's packed in a box, and I really want to get back into open tuning...

And erase all history of both names it's used in the forums and song comments. I'd like to see this topic only appear on the RAFT in the spirit it was intended. Don't forget, it's been the Holidays and Bill might have had more important things to do than fumigate the forums. That's all I have to say about it. Anything else just gratifies the sickos self interests.

Leslie wrote: It's true, lily. I rarely visit RP anymore. It's very sad. She was a super cool person.
Yes, she could put the "main nerve" into words. I only rarely PM'd her, but, I am betting, like many, I had insights from her comments, and yet didn't really know her. It is certain that she is part of RP's DNA, and will be for along time to come. Edit: Leslie, you are always welcome in my "e-house" anytime. Stick around if you can.
