I can understand some cynicism of the event, I would guess also the producers new about her talent and made sure she was on at the right time with the right amount of cameras etc.... But, the British paperazzi are notorious for digging up the dirt, and so far, its pretty clear this lady did just turn up, knowing that she was farily talented and is now on the crest of a wave. So it seems anyhow.
