I was listening back when OS9 was new and I paid for MacAmp to listen to RP
I tunes came shortly thereafter
Still remember trying to donate to RP and a couple of e-mail exchanges with Bill G. about having to use Paypal.
The upshot of all this, is a thank you to Bill and Rebbecca for making me interested in music again
That was a low point for my interest in music, as the station that I had enjoyed had been sold and changed format a couple of years earlier.
RP brought great music back to my life, for that I am very thankful.

I haven't a clue what the exact day is, but around this time of year is my ninth RP anniversary. Wow...that was an awfully long time ago.

MY OWN! I just noticed that today is the 5th anniversary of my signing up on RP, which I remember doing immediately upon hearing less than an hour's music, I was so impressed.

Thank you Bill and Rebecca for 5 glorious years of awesome, nay, stupendous! musical enjoyment.

It took me a bit longer, a matter of maybe two months, before I began to cautiously engage in the Forum and Journal sites. Once in, I dove in and am still, in spite of a few withdrawals, still here today... much to the chagrin of some, I know. Nonetheless, I am thoroughly enamored of you, my RP family, and all the ribaldry, riposte' and razzmatazz that comes with it.
