Using the RP ATV app, and yesterday it would only play a single song, then stop. Maybe a few minutes later another song would play. The display would change, showing that another song was on - but I couldn't hear it. 

If I hit pause, then play, the tune would start up. But if I went into the other room, after the song finished, silence.

I'm on a gigabit ethernet connection with my ISP, and the ATV is connected by Cat6 cable to the router. I've chosen Maximum quality (and even if I make it less nothing improves), and sync the stream with the live feed.

Any ideas?

Purchased the new Apple TV (4th Gen) this weekend, and much to my surprise, the Radio Paradise 3.0 App is up and running, love it! Pretty basic at this point, but it does the 4 things most RP listeners want: 

1. Of course, GREAT MUSIC (with 320k option)
2. Photo Slideshow
3. Song/Artist Title
4. PSD (although I rarely have the need for this feature)

My work around...is to just to bypass Apple TV and to directly plug  my Ipad to my stereo system and listen. Of course, I don't have the big screen high def enjoyment of the wonderful slideshow...but I get great sound and when we have guests over and it's the always occurring "name that tune" or "who is THIS artist" we just have to glance at the Ipad.
As always, Thank You for Radio Paradise! A friend of mine, who I recently turned on to RP, is the new local RP evangelist singing your praises...you should see a spike in your listeners from Vista, Ca (North San Diego County) because of his enthusiasm!!!!!

We'll be investigating that.  Probably we'll have something for the new boxes.  Unfortunately that won't help with any existing AppleTV units.

What about the new Apple TV that runs apps?  Available next month.

I know we've had a few timing errors on the playlist display. I'm in the middle of an infrastructure upgrade & there have been a few glitches.

The slideshow is *definitely* not repeating the same 25-30 photos.

I've recently started using Apple TV to listen to RP. Although it sounds great, it leaves a lot to be desired. It is not as a robust presentation as the RP website. I've noticed lately that even the RP slideshow has been scaled down with the same 25-30 of the same photos repeating and although they are stunning photos, they have no relevance to the song playing and it's horrible to watch the same photos over and over again. Additionally, the sync of RP on Apple TV and a portable device with the RP app we use to see a song name or artist is off by 10-20 seconds with the portable device being faster. Ohhhhh.... the inconveniences  we have to go through to listen to our favorite station!!!!!! I wish that all of my life's "problems" were just little tech inconveniences!
