Ex-President Trump’s hush money case should never have made it to indictment, according to former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
During an appearance Friday on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” the disgraced Democrat said the prosecutors in District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office pursued the former president’s conviction only because of who he is and what he wants, reports The Hill.
“The attorney general’s case in New York, frankly, should have never been brought,” Cuomo told Maher. “And if his name was not Donald Trump and if he wasn’t running for president… I’m the former AG of in New York [and] I’m telling you that case would’ve never been brought.”
Added Cuomo, the former New York attorney general: “That’s what is offensive to people, and it should be because if there’s anything left, it’s belief in the justice system.”
Joe sent his number 3 man from his DOJ to lead the prosecution of Trump in NYC.
Biden's finger prints are all over the 4 cases. Smith is an unconstitutionally appointed prosecutor for the DC and Miami cases as well.
That you think that these for cases are uncoordinated and apolitical speaks volumes about your character and judgement. I only add that because you have no qualms about judging me.

America lost the debate last night. And will likely lose the election in November. Not sure how long it will take to see if America itself is lost too.
Did Biden lie to Americans about Covid, try to suppress testing data, claimed that it wasn't a big deal when he knew it was? No, that was Trump.
There is just never going to be an honest assessment of COVID, inflation, or anything else even remotely factual in this election. Trying to force it is useless.
- Trump created the greatest economy in history (his notion... not reality of course).
- If it hadn't been for COVID... (insert anything bad here... like he wouldn't have lost more jobs than any president...EVER... a fact. Or he wouldn't have increased the deficit more than any president.... EVER)
He loses to Biden... and EVERYTHING is Joe's fault. Ignore that the US has done better economically than anyone else... the pandemic deaths, global supply chains, 2 wars, blacks losing jobs (to migrants...nice touch last night), everything is Joe's fault.
The problem is that nobody is going to fact-check or challenge him in real-time...ever... and the one guy who had the chance isn't up to the task. Can Joe govern...maybe...but he sure as hell can't debate anymore.

In Detroit, he was warmly received at a black church whose pastor thanked him for visiting the real "hood". Something that the pastor pointed out that neither Obama or Biden had ever done.
Trump is gaining a great deal of support in the black and Hispanic communities. How is that not uniting people ? Minority unemployment under Trump hit historic all time lows, for all minorities tracked.
Sounds prosperous and uniting to me.
Trump is walking the talk. He is reaching out beyond his base while your side still panders and takes all of you for granted.
Oh, and Biden just said that he is running, will not drop out and will debate again in September.
Lastly, Trump did leave office when his term was up without the need or the threat of force as your side insisted would be necessary. Can you be so sure of Biden doing the same ?

Trump was the one who fanned the flames of vaccine skepticism, which led to Americans not getting vaccinated or delaying. THAT helped lead to a surge of Covid infections and deaths. Biden did everything to push the vaccine forward and encourage people to get the shot.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans died because Trump failed to deal with Covid.

Many, many more people have died from Covid under Biden than Trump and that is with the benefit of vaccines and knowledge of Covid not yet known during the Trump administration. So that is a huge fail for Biden.

Yet Putin militarily kept quite under Trump. The world at large was very quite under Trump. He took out Isis in a couple of days and that got everyone's attention, including Xi.
Now the world has become unhinged under Biden.
Biden also had the nerve to say that no US troops have been killed during his administration. So how about Biden looking at his watch repeatedly as the coffins of the 13 deceased troops were unloaded from his Afghanistan debacle, which greenlighted Putin to go into Ukraine.
Biden even said that Putin could take some Ukrainian territory and that would be ok with him. So exactly who is in Putin's pocket ?

And, now that folks have a little more perspective, the pushback seems to be that it really didnât matter, since the former reality tv actor spent the debate lying to everyone, and has no good record to fall back on, and has said that heâll be focused on âretributionâ in lieu of running the USA. It makes the choice really easy: someone with a track record of trying to help all Americans, or someone who hired his daughter to work in the White House and cheated on his wives and continues to lose in court because heâs breaking the laws. (That is not a choice of âanyoneâ but Trump. Itâs a choice of decades of competence vs decades of failure.)

Several factors are causing Biden's unpopularity—his age, inflation and a general sense of "vibecession" arising from the belief that big-ticket items houses and college education are beyond the reach of average people. Yes, last night showed that at times Joe can no longer perform in a debate. I think it's time for him to step down as candidate.
Trump has no vision of a united and prosperous America. It's all about him and sticking it to people he doesn't like—which is pretty everyone who doesn't suck up to him.

I can't believe I'm going to type this, but if the focus is on the undecided middle, then I think Michelle Obama is the nominee the Dems need. I also think Newsome likely would also beat Trump, but he carries a lot of baggage out of CA that the Right is going to play on a loop (ie tent cities). Having Barrack as the "first man" has a LOT of value.
I don't think Trump would debate her, and she would give people an option not named Biden or Trump, which has polled incredibly well.
Barrack is likely the guy who can save Democracy... because he can talk both Joe and Michelle into doing what's necessary.
