Disclaimer: I am a filthy whore. I was looking at the lineup for this festival (this is its first year) and noticed at the bottom of the page that in exchange for putting up posters, I could get free tickets. That's $150 worth and so hey. I'm on the street team. So. Justine's mom's having some surgery done on her achilles tendon to get rid of a bone spur. She won't be able to put weight on the foot for more than a month, so Justine's going to go there for the month of August and help, and the kids are going with her. Yes, I'm staying at home, working. So. I was wasting time at work on Monday, and stumbled across the Avett Brothers website and thought, "let's just see if they're ever gonna be anywhere near here (Ha!)" Lo & Behold, the The Jackson Hole Music Festival Saturday Wilco Brian Wilson Medeski Martin & Wood Kaki King Backdoor Slam Sunday The Black Crowes Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals Robert Randolph & The Family Band Son Volt The Avett Brothers ============= I'm going! If anyone else is, too, well hey! It's a great place to spend a long weekend, and I'd love to hang out at the show, after the show, or catch breakfast at Nora's, whatever. Lemme know!
