Wasn't too impressed at the start. But it got my foot tapping with that awesome off-tempo beat at the end.
This is one of the few songs - the second part of the song, that you can actually DANCE on. I guess that's a big plus in a live show.
The amazing thing with this band, is everytime I listen to them, I feel strangely energized afterwards.

It’s one of the songs they don’t do live, it should work well here.
Oh my god, it got here! Finally!
Where !?

....got here where !?

Yes, the music is a little discomforting, but in a good way. It definitely works my synapses.
Sounds like the perfect name for this band and their music.
How annoying.
Completely agree. And yet, I still find it lovable. Like my toddler.
A bit of Primus comes to mind. Which by the way is a BIG missing on RP.
Another commenter (on another AdP song played on RP) described them as Primus on a broken turntable, which I felt was super apt.
I saw them live 5 days ago...great!!! Nancy, France
Heard these guys are great live. I can believe it. Their concert here sold out on the first day of pre-sale; didn't even get a chance to buy!
Frank Zappa would...

I understand the polarization.
For me it's an 8.

Jerry was a race car driver...
Hate. I wish there was a rating lower than sucko-barfo
Hate. There's that word again...
Who do I make this pay check out to?
Angine de Poitrine on Radio Paradise! It's really happening! Also, talk about polarizing ratings lol
9 from me
I agree, KEXP always excellent sound quality
Thanks for the other tracklist, will have a listen

KEXP & Tiny Desk are hugely underrated for sound quality and some of the best live material out there. RP of course the backbone of my new music discovery. Love these "guys" looper magic and super tight.
How annoying.
Right there with you
in small doses. ...my brain is still getting used to those microtones.

Thanks for posting. This duo is tight. Much more impressive seeing the video.
I wonder if the KEXP recordings would be available, the production surpasses the studio albums.
Mind you, there are some most excellent tracks on Vol Ii. UTZP, Yor Zarad, Angor.......
I'd also recommend Sherpa and Ababa Hotel from Vol.I, as a bare minimum.
Saw them in Brighton last week, absolutely fantastic.
Not shocked Angine de Poitrine hit RP—laughed at first chord. Acquired taste? Absolutely.
Yeah, the 'Why-Make-A-Cover' crowd may not like this at all. The visuals in the videos gives them more attention time from the observer to let the song develop. Without it, a lot here will PSD within the few seconds.
'Different' isn't for everyone...

EDIT: My hope is they're taping their current shows, there are some amazing takes of Ababa Hotel and the rest?
I would buy that live album.

Does their music after multiple plays eventually cause heartburn? Also yes
...so their name is relevant.
but seriously: what time signature is that? I tried to count along but am stumped.
