Sroka is a bassist, composer and musician from New Caledonia. After accompanying various artists on stage, including Jason Mist, Sroka decided to create a more personal musical project, inspired as much by traditional Kanak music as by jazz, classical music or alternative rock.

In his first EP "Dialogues", released in 2021, Sroka highlighted his instrument, the electric bass, through a collection of pieces written for duets on which artists such as Waagal, So Lune and Jason Mist were invited to play.

In this album " Rivages ", if his first compositions were born from a fascination for the bass as a solo instrument, the sequel is an opening to a new palette of sounds, mixing electronic and organic elements. Always in search of simple and evocative melodies, Sroka 's universe expands and becomes more precise to give birth to a soaring, almost cinematic music.
