The closest thing that I can recall to listening here on RP to "Beyond..." is from a period in the 1990s when I subscribed to a Jazz CD of the month club for several years. It was always a source of joy to receive the little shiny cardboard CDs by US Postal mail. My two children were receptive to most of the music, and I'm sure their musical tastes were affected by this constant exposure. My wife endured when I would repeat a particular track while driving somewhere, and continues to put up with jazz in the car today, unless it goes way out there (experimental fusion).
