I rise from the withering night
New dawn brings the morning light
A thin veil falls gently from my eyes
A beam of light as the sun comes up
A gold flicker from a mountain top
Daybreak softening the sky
I feel alive as the morning comes
Regenerated by the warming sun
Tangerine rays come showering down
Everything shifting at the speed of sound
New dawn brings the morning light
A thin veil falls gently from my eyes
A beam of light as the sun comes up
A gold flicker from a mountain top
Daybreak softening the sky

Regenerated by the warming sun

Whoah! Hearing the intro from the kitchen, I thought "Imagination" by Sad Lovers and Giants was about to start ripping from the speakers; a very good thing! and yet, when I realized it wasn't, I wasn't disappointed -- in fact, it started soaring so well on those tweaked layered guitar grooves that it made me think of Moon Duo's "Lost Heads"...and now, in this part, I'm thinking that it approaches as epic as "Odyssey" by God Is An Astronaut. At 1st listen, I'm very impressed! Well done!
Solid on its own, but it's got a lot of other DNA in it. Tangerine Dream, for one. This I think is my first listen, so I can't quite put my finger on who what else it echoes and conjures. Good driving, work out and party music.
