Glue
Stuck to me baby
I guess I'm stuck to you
For all that we know
Waiting to water
A thing that never grows

In this life
Are we
Any closer than we were
Two years ago?
It's never easy
So we take it slow
I can see heaven
Through a crack in the floor

Who here is safe?
Out in a forest
I waited here for days
When you came
I didn't notice
The moon had been replaced

In this life
We keep
Colours dancing all around us
In a quiet room
And you get the best of me baby
Here lies the proof
I can see heaven
Through a crack in the roof

Ohhhhh
Ohhhhh
Ohhhhh
Ohhhhh
Ohhhhh

In this life
Are we
Any closer than we were
Two years ago?
It's never easy
So we take it slow
I can see heaven
Through a crack in the floor

The 2:39 length song holds the promise of better things from this Irish artist. I'll be waiting for RP to play more material in the near future.
Reminds me a bit of Bon Iver, and that's a good thing.

Whatever that loop is in the background is annoying and not needed in my opinion.

Same here.  This tune caught my attention immediately with this first listen.
Artistic contributions of soulful Irish singer-songwriters are welcome and cherished in this or any charmed life! Thanks, RP!
The backing music and singing can't quite mask that painful singing
I love the way this song builds. James is a fantastic singer, I'm a sucker for those harmonies.
