Super collider
Dust in a moment
Particles scatter
Parting from the soup
Swimming upstream
Before the heavens crack open
Thin pixelations
Coming out from the dark
In a blue light
In a green light
In a half life
In a work light
I'm a B-spin
Flip flopping
I'm a pulse wave
Outstepping
I'll put the shadows back into
The boxes
I am open
I am welcome
For a fraction
Of a second
I have jettisoned my illusions
I have dislodged my depressions
And put the shadows back into
The boxes
I've seen the angels hanging over the balcony
Dust in a moment
Particles scatter
Parting from the soup
Swimming upstream
Before the heavens crack open
Thin pixelations
Coming out from the dark
In a blue light
In a green light

Nothing wrong with simple. All the best artists(and teachers) will tell you to keep it simple. Once you have a foundation you can build on that, and then build on that, but never obscure the 'simple' foundation.well said

I suspect you are exaggerating about the vomiting part. If not go see your doctor ASAP. It could be serious. You might want to check in with a mental health therapist. Hearing a band you dislike should not ruin your day. Then again, maybe you are just exaggerating.
RADIOHEAD is the WORST. So very lame and overrated. Why in world do you play them incessantly? It's baffling. Enjoy RP for the most part otherwise, but i can always count on several Radiohead tracks to ruin each and every day. At which point i switch off RP and go vomit.

100 years from now its Radiohead that will be played on the 2119 version
of RadioParadise. Yes, they will live on while most bands from the same era will have been long forgotten. Bank on it. If you do not get Radiohead this lifetime you will have the next one to up your game.

Not a RH fan, but I like this for some reason.

so this was released on vinyl and digital via the innerwebs,
I can see why they wouldn't release it on reel-to-reel, 8-track or cassette tape
but no cd? c'mon, a lot of people still use cd's,
I'll bet there are some closet cd users even in Brooklyn

This is a completely true story:
3 minutes ago, during Caro Emerald, the roommie comes upstairs and asks, "What is this?"
I say, "This is Caro Emerald on Radio Paradise."
He asks, "Is it big bang, or all over the map?"
I respond, "Oh, it's all over the map. He may even play Radiohead next."
And then Bill comes in for a moment, says, "That was Caro Emerald, with Ella Fitzgerald right before that. And now for something completely different....."

Everybody in my homeless camp loves this song more than rum runners...
I prefer both: The Bends debuted their creative talent, Ok Computer was landmark in creative genius not heard in 20+ years prior, IMHO.

I appreciate what they're about, but let's face it: When it comes to Radiohead, the most important question to ask is "which do you prefer, OK Computer or The Bends?" The rest of it is just experimental noodling.

I agree. We got a great change of pace with Kid A and Amnesiac and the next 20 CDs of theirs that all sounded the same. Now, it's time for another change-up. They need to go back to creating engaging, relevant songs.
Not every song that a band or artist does has to define said artist -- RH are amazing -- they do all sorts of amazing music -- and one trippy, monotonous track doesn't define their worthyness or their talent -- quite the contrary -- it just shows that they are willing to record ANYTHING that they think sounds cool & put it out there -- regardless of their artistic merit being judged by it -- which is why they ARE truly great artists.
RH are truly an amazing band -- one-of-a-kind -- they have no equal simply because they are the only ones who do what they do.
That said -- this song kinda sucks.

No band (except maybe Silversun Picksups) elicits such a contrary reaction from me. I love their music. His thin off-key vocals annoy me and almost creep me out.
whatever
I really like the repetition and monotony of this track, funnily enough, it's soothing and contemporary at the same time, advanced from other stuff and a fresh sound for RH

I concur. They should have pursued the "Creep" direction (if they were capable of it). Pretentiousness sounds particularly bad when it's delivered in a whiny voice.
Give me "Supercollider" by Tribe any time and I'll take U2 or Muse if I want self-importance delivered in a falsetto.
The talent attributed to this band still completely eludes me...

I do love this. And, it sounds like Radiohead + Jean Michel Jarre.
Wish King of Limbs had been more like this, but it never really took off for me.

I previously gave this a seven. I just got up now to say that it was just a bit too monotonous for me at this time and grating on my nerves and patience.
I guess it all has to do with ones mood.

...absolutely loved samurai jack!..
Can't look at the cover art without thinking about Aku.
I've never been a big Radiohead fan, but I'm digging their new stuff. Gotta respect this band for continuing to grow and explore new territories.
still diggin' it. . .
Good headphones worthy... New to me, have not been able to pick up the new Radiohead yet. Really enjoying this!
Oh yeah! This is the first i've heard of this album and i love it.
I dig this track! Good job picking it up and airing it right away.
kind of annoying. not one of their better efforts
Thank you, Radio Paradise, for playing this "King of Limbs" bonus track!
diggin' it
...i like this much better than most radiohead; not bad at all...
I've already been bested by a 10. Won't quibble.
I'll be the first to throw out a 9.
They never disappoint me.

RADIOHEAD is the WORST. So very lame and overrated. Why in world do you play them incessantly? It's baffling. Enjoy RP for the most part otherwise, but i can always count on several Radiohead tracks to ruin each and every day. At which point i switch off RP and go vomit.
And I read this post for the first time on t he day of this news headline. Today, 12/12/22, Radiohead and the news may be supercolliding.
US scientists reach long-awaited nuclear fusion breakthrough, source says
I agree that Radiohead may be regarded more highly than warranted. I like only a few of their tracks (or those I have taken the challenge to hear.) On the other hand, they are fine artists, I just don't dig them often. That's my problem, I suppose. Saying so, a lot of folks here don't like Santana, or The Beatles. That's THEIR problem.
I wouldn't know if Radiohead is played incessantly on RP. I don't track their tracks. If RH or any other song or act I don't appreciate radiates from my speakers, I don't suppress an urge to vomit (a bit of hyperbole, eh what, Spumoni?), I follow through on the urge to mouseify the forward/psd arrow. For every problem or dislike there is usually a solution.
