This is fatalistic
I have been working on one of those large gym balls and when I heard this song I just started bouncing and bouncing and discovered that you can dance while sitting down. This is an AMAZING TRACK! Thank you William and Radio Paradise!!!
I keep thinking of the sample used by Banco de Gaia"I've never heard anything like it... it's great it's great it's great..."
Such lovely trippy stuff.
Thank you Bill.
More please.

Fluke have been one of my top bands for a long while. . . there was a time when I'd be playing these guys incessantly.
If you like this kindafing, check them out because their entire output is rich with goodness like this.
Mommy hold me, I'm frightened.

Brilliant movie. Loved the mix of hilarity and high tension in many scenes.
The rhythm in this occasionally sounds like Golden Earring's "Radar Love." Must buy this.
The soundtrack to Run Lola Run and Fluke's Risotto album were both in heavy rotation for me at the end of the 90's/beginning of the 00's. Good stuff. Also anything by Underworld is fantastic in the same vein.

I'm liking this by Fluke, shades of the'House of Cards' theme music, great mood setting.

I am a BIG Fluke fan and delighted to hear this track here.
How wonderful we get to listen to such a varied pot of musical styles from all ages so that we can collectively extend our knowledge and entertain ourselves.
Thanks you RP. . . I feel nourished.

wowsers almost 25 yrs ago...... a real blast from the past
reminding me of the orb circa 25 yrs ago
If you can play this you can play some Leftfield - please...! They‘re only 3 times better...
Nice tune and arrangement. Reminds me of Banco de Gaia: Last train to Lhasa.
This is no fluke...it is OK.

Sorry about that. Fixed now.
This is... most definitely not "Fluke" by O.K. It is, however, an absolutely incredible song that I'm glad to hear in its stead (Fur Elise).
EDIT: Although I could do without the prolonged silence at the end.

Hmmm, Fur Elise is now called O.K. by Fluke...well, that is just wrong. Fur Elise is way more than O.K., however, it may have come to us by way of a fluke. Hard to know since it was written hundreds of years ago. What is happening here, y'all?

yeah, the bass line is slightly similar but that's about it. That HoC theme music is brilliant, isn't it? Kudos to our local guy Jeff Beal.
And I like this Fluke, too !

Another vote for some Ozrics on RP from me too!!
.
Just had a look at the playlist - there are actually 4 Ozric Tentacles tracks on there, one of them (Aura Borealis) got played earlier this month, so it says. As for the other three - one in 2014, one in 2010, and the other not played since 2003. Just thought i'd share that . . .
cheers
PS - Seen the Ozircs live 3 times (i think) most memorably (!) at the Midsomer Festival '95 - in a massive marquee. I swear they were louder than when i've seen Motorhead!! Absolutely blew me away!!
Maybe someone whos a better 'fan' than me would like to upload 1 or 2 of their best tracks . . . please!!

This is ok for working to. Fluke did a pretty interesting remix album of Talk Talk's Natural History, back in the day ...
1995. Amazing.
a little bit of ozric tentacles vibe here...

Have a good number of their albums. Great stuff. I do wish they would get a lineup more like in the days of yore. That was classic. Jumping John, Seaweed, et al... Yeah...
This makes me want to hear some Ozric Tentacles or Hidria Spacefolk, two groups I also don't hear on this station.

Music from my days in college. Good stuff!
Is it just me, or are there Clangers in the background?
Great ambient music
too much like modern art for me.

Groove-y. Let's smoke something transcendentally hypnotic. Hypnotically transcendental.
Very good music. I had to look twice at the name to register it in my brain so I can check them out further. Thanks RP for turning me on to yet more good music!

Whoooa! Had to do a double take I was not playing my own playlists. Fluke are one of the most played artists at Poacher mansions. . . usually at extreme volume. I have everything they recorded in various versions and mixes and mostly all bootlegs as well. Yep, I am a fanboy. . . well. . .fanoldman.

Fluke kicks ASS and so does radio paradise. Now we got THAT straight.

Agree. A great deal of their sound is recorded out of phase, so it sounds like stuff is way outside the speakers—where you wouldn't expect it.
I listen to quite a lot of Fluke and I can really recommend them for driving to
The production is really top notch for all their material and listening to them on a great HI-FI system can take you to another world. Fantastic stuff - more Fluke please!

Cool! A new song that is an old song! I love Fluke — I still listen to Risotto on a regular basis. There is a wealth of great music from the 90's, underneath all that mainstream crap.
Really nice.
Really like it, so nice to just close your eyes (sitting at your boring officedesk) and float away. Surprised to hear this kind of music on RP.
