Looks like Julia Roberts on the album cover.

Just saying...

She's a close personal friend of Aubrey Beardsley...

If only artist and producers could realize this radio is best commercial, and lower the fees to pay

I always fancy a good curry. But that got more to do with greed than music.
Awesome!
I'm just waiting for the Austin Powers cameo.
go get em'
All of a sudden, it's 1968 in here.

I like it.

Thumbs up if you wanted Prodigy's version to kick in?

Love the cover... the song, no. Not at all.
very nice indeed!!!
I'm surprised I haven't heard of this group before.  I like what I've heard from them on RP.  I love the retro '60's psychedelic album cover!

I've run in two half-marathons, each one with this song playing at about Mile 5 or 6.....and I swear, the energy of its sacred chant in the chorus gives me the energy I need to get through the next half!  Not to mention, the song effing ROCKS.

I love hearing new interpretations of classic songs. This one pleases me greatly
Excellent band.  Cool album covers too.

Damn, this is a *great* cover!

Considering the lead singer of Kula Shaker co-wrote the Prodigy song, it's not too surprising.

Love this!
I think the lead singer has an awesome name :)

Almost sounded like Beck at first...
Trippy and inspiring sounds run together well
The sum of all the parts comes out a bit "busy".

Love this album - but maybe it's just me but I always fancy a good curry when I hear Kula Shaker
Damn, this is a *great* cover!
I love it! If you like 60s psychedelic sounding stuff, this is for you.

Yes, please! I want to know how the rest of the album is. Anyone?
Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

Great album all the way through. IMHO. I bought it recently and soon as I listened to it once, I went right to amazon and bought another Kula Shaker album "K" ... also excellent, I think.

I have this album and love it. The Song of Love/Narayana is very good, but there are songs much better- "Hurricane Season" is one of my favorites (and its in 5/4 time for you fellow music geeks out there!)
Nice!

I uploaded two more songs from the album quite a while ago (actually, together with this one), but while Song of Love / Narayana was added immediately, the other two seem to be stuck on the LRC. Guess you can catch 'em there - "Out On The Highway" and "Dr Kitt".

Just found out about the new album (2007), thanks to RP. Yahoo!!!!! Love this band, and Crispian Mills' post Kula career has not been earth shattering, so I had hoped they would reunite. Awesome band that broke up too soon originally in my humble opinion. I will be buying another CD soon as well.

The stuff of dreams, my friend! ;-)
Wow! Sooo groovy. I love this!
Sweet segue.
Great album, if you dig the 60s sound.

Yay! New Kula Shaker!!!
Wow, has flashes of Charlatans-style singing, and Eastern mysticism resonates throughout...first listen, but liking it! and now gonna go looking for Tellin' Stories, slap that bad boy on and beam myself UP...
You had me groovin' and you just made me turn the volume down...
I never noticed at the start of this track is also a reference to the Prodigy song "Climbatize", which is a really cool track.
OK, but prodigy much better.
Very eclectic...new sound for me thanx
Could do without this one.
am i reading that right? this singer is the one singing on prodigy's fat of the land? (woulda never guessed)
this song is cool.
i'm likin' this more and more every time.
Ending was a bit of a let down, but the rest... pretty good
um...
Eh
I heard the Prodigy version first but I love the chilled vibe on this version That album cover is great too!

Hmm. This is a prodigy song, who covered/sampled whom?
None other than Kula Shaker lead singer Crispian Mills provided the vocals on "The Fat of the Land"...
A smell of wine and cheap perfume... now THAT is brilliant! EssexTex wrote:

nice to hear from these boys again - nice use of the PRODIGY song as well....
Prefer The Prodigy's version by a mile
I like how the lead singer's name is Crispian. What a great name!
I had no idea this band was still together. This sounds all right.
I love this group, and their grooves! I heard the singer for this band is the son of child actress Haley Mills!
Wow, what a Donovan groove.
