Cockburn is a homie.  I have had the privilege to attend two of his concerts -- one unplugged, the other plugged -- and both were absolutely fabulous.

Just saw him about a month ago, voice still strong and his guitar is as good as ever.  Glad I got to see him after all these years.

Bruce is remarkable.
I think he and Peter Gabriel should collaborate or maybe Harry Manx.
Oh hell, the trio. Harry, Pete & Bruce supergroup!

Harry Manx for sure. First time I heard this song I thought it WAS Harry. I would love to hear a collaboration between him and Bruce.

I'd rather be a hammer than a nail.
Love Bruce Cockburn, can’t get enough. Doesn’t hurt that he lives in my hood here in San Francisco.

This isn't minimalism.

It's pronounced Coburn.
Never suntan naked & fall asleep.... Cockburn

What, you don't like rock glockenspiel?

That's a bummer, esp. since RP plays a lot of Bruce. Was just thinking that he's covered a lot of ground since "Wondering Where the Lions Are." Bruce can get a little preachy sometimes...

Nice segue from Harry Manx — Shadow Of The Whip to this, though.

I think this song is a pretty cool way to describe and tell a story about a common condition among sexually active folks.  Of course, if you are not (or are no longer) as such, I can see how it might not be hitting the fun buttons for you...

I'll venture a guess......monotonous repetition?

Fart jokes, please :o)

If you think Cockburn pronounced Coburn is strange, think of weird names of the British aristocracy. Cholmondely-Farquhar comes to mind...

gosh, this is horrid. someone put him out of his misery.

this song gives me a headache...need to turn the volume down to prevent me from having a melt down...

Very tedious
Gimme a break, Bruce.  You call these lyrics?
I really feel with Bruce for his burn...

Particular, original, passionate, rithmical song
Bill must be a true fan. Seriously. He has played a Bruce gem from nearly every album.

Like this song and it hasnèt even started playing yet.
Nice guitar playing but this song deos nothing for me.
Both names - Bruce and COCKBURN - are punishment!

Cockburn?
There are very few songs of Cockburn's that I don't like. And this isn't one of them. Wow. Just passionate and articulate. "Something uncoils at the base of my spine..."  {#Meditate}

Yet another tasty treat from Bruce.
Would have bet money that was Nick Cave.

Lucky you!! Bruce plays Canada much more often than the states....    :( last year he was here doing a solo acoustic show....unreal....his song about Beautiful Creatures was spellbinding!!!!

I love the underlying rhythm in this song.  In fact, that train-like rhythm is something I love in many songs that share it's pace.

Very nice.
This whole cd is so vibrant and gritty, edgy....deep.  I absoluetly love it!  {#Drummer}

gotta love the unabashed spirituality coming across as fierce and funky rather than sappy and sloppy. no mean feat, Mr. C.

Bruce and a number of guys in this particular band have, shall we say, "interpersonal challenges". That said, this is an excellent CD. Highly recommended.
Bruce is totally amazing on the acoustic guitar. Deserves as much recognition for his acoustic playing as he's had for his fine songwriting, lyrics and diverse musical compositions.
Bruce's musicianship has always been great and his lyrics timely. He's right on, . . . again . . .
It took a while, but this disc has really grown on me. I'm due to see him, it's been too long since my last Bruce show.
I've always understood if someone doesn't care for Bruce C. BUT, once you dig this guy...wow.
Painful.
Sounds outstanding to me!
Bruce continues to show his prowess as a great Canadian song writer. A great guitar player, too!
