This group succeeded in ruining this already overplayed song. It sounds like a needle got stuck in a groove. I would break all copies of this if I could.

I've always heard of St Etienne, kept thinking I should know the music, was mentioned in articles near artists I like.
When driving through that town in the south of France (sigh) was excited, knew I should know it as more than a name.

not sure what i'd think of this if i didn't have so many indelible memories attached to it, but I AM LOVING IT NOW.... 
From the early 90s, and sounds very 80s. This is not a bad thing.
I try not to rate too many songs a 1, but man, this is hurtin' me.
Shame too, since the playlist all night tonight has been divine.
