The night seems to fade, but the moonlight lingers on.
There are wonders for everyone.
The stars shine so bright,
but they're fading after dawn.
There's magic in Kingston Town.

Oh Kingston Town, the place I long to be.
If I had the whole world I would give it away
just to see the girls at play.

When I am king surely I would need a queen.
And a palace and everything, yeah.
And now, I am king and my queen will come at dawn
she'll be waiting in Kingston Town.

(repeat last two refrains till end)

Like this one a lot. Laid back, way back.
That was scarey. I thought I was hearing "Boy George" on RP for a second or two.
YES!.....MORE UB40! (of their less commercialized variety)

Hahahaha! That's pretty funny. As for me: TheyBe2.
Nice transition from Blue Sky Mine to this - the organs were almost identical. I don't know how you do it.
I can't give this more than a "4" (acceptable). The match of song to artist is less than perfect; I've loved old, original UB40 ("One in Ten" and "Food for Thought" especially), but have never cared for their *laboured* covers on Labour of Love or its sequels. It's not completely horrible, but that's as much of a recommendation as I can give it.

there are some great UB40 tracks out there, but I've never heard them stateside.

Thanks for the upload.
Buy a UB40 song, play it 10 times and hey presto! You've got one of their Albums!
UB40 sucks. how about some israel vibrations??
I've disliked UB40 ever since their abominable cover of Red Red Wine. this song does nothing to change my opinion of them.

Thanks amigo !!
I have nothing against UB40, but I'd rather hear Bob Marley singing about Kingston and growing up in Trenchtown than white guys from the UK.

Please RP. Get back on track. This is the WORST I have ever heard around here. I simply can't listen to this, it is so out of touch and feeling.

You can call me happy too! Great to hear a UB song that hasn't been totally overplayed and forgotten.
