Baby, here I am
I'm the man on the scene
I can give you what you want
But you gotta come home with me
I have got some good old lovin'
And I got some more in store
When I get through throwin' it on you
You gotta come back for more

Boys and things that come by the dozen
That ain't nothin' but drugstore lovin'
Pretty little thing let me light your candle
'Cause mama I'm so hard to handle now
Yes, I am

Action speaks louder than words
And I'm a man of great experience
I know you've got another man
But I can love you better than him

Take my hand don't be afraid
I'm gonna prove every word I say
I'm advertising love for free
So you can place your ad with me

Boys – they come along a dime by the dozen
That ain't nothing but ten cent lovin'
Pretty little thing let me light your candle
'Cause mama I'm so hard to handle now
Yes, I am

Yeah
Hard to handle now
Oh baby

Baby, here I am
I'm the man on the scene
I can give you what you want
But you gotta come home with me
I have got some good old lovin'
And I got some more in store
When I get through throwin' it on you
You gotta come back for more

Boys – they run along a dime by the dozen
That ain't nothin' but drugstore lovin'
Pretty little thing let me light your candle
'Cause mama I'm so hard to handle now
Yes, I am

Hard
Hard to handle now
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah

Boys – they go along a dime by the dozen
That ain't nothing but ten cent lovin'
Pretty little thing let me light your candle
'Cause mama I'm so hard to handle now
Yes, I am

Yeah
You're hard to handle now
Oh, yeah

Baby, a good lovin'
Baby, baby
Oh, oh, good lovin'
I need good lovin'
I gotta handle, oh, yeah
Haa, yeah

A rockin' great cover! Nearly up there with The Commitments' version, which is always a 9 in my book. 8 from the Nottingham jury.

That was a Superb cover and the film was a scream!
Nice to finally know at least some of the lyrics in this great song! Still, I hear words not on here so even RP has a hard time understanding this song.

thought this was badazz until I heard the og version
How did I have this at 8? It's a least a 9.

Rock on, fellow RP peeps  :D
Can't PSD fast enough....
Great Band
A great cover, and staple fodder for all the Joizey shore cover bands in the mid 90s.
Tony Joe White all the way.

But the Black Crowes make  her wiggle, so I'm not gonna complain am I. She's doing it right now.
How bout Pigpen/Dead's version?
Good tune that brings back good memories...

Nice cover, and I don't mean the album cover.
Another example of battling siblings. Wish they would reform
Ah! My favorite band, and they've NEVER been played on RP? Bill, why oh why? What could possibly cheer up the great-taste-laden masses more than Otis Redding as performed by The Black Crowes?!?! Let's hear it!
