Just saw him at a free concert in Millennium Park in Chicago. Pretty phenomenal. Great concert. Fantastic music.

He has the funniest drummer in indie rock too!

Where are those guys knocking RP for not playing Mould (okay, specifically Husker Du)? Though I admit that I would love to hear some HD too...as well spoonful of Sugar. Definitely a favorite Uncle to Grohl and the Foos.

His first solo album is awesome, frankly shocked I haven't hear ANY of those tunes here?!

Don't see any reason why RP can't add (at least) "Wishing Well" and "Lonely Afternoon" off Bob Mould's 1st solo outing, Workbook (1989 I think).  Was a huge Husker Du fan, saw them 3 times & have seen Mould w/ Sugar and also solo acoustic.  It's true what they say about Kurt Cobain: he knew he'd never be this good and so...

For what it's worth, I submitted "Last Drag of the Day" by Bob Mould, and it's still in "review" at 100/0. Maybe someday they'll put it on the playlist. Meanwhile, anything by Mould is worth a listen.

First of all, huuuge Mould fan here from way back, though not a Husker Du fan, I started loving him right after the Du and actually prefer his solo work, particularly with Sugar. I love all of his solo work except for this album; this song is good, but did not like the rest of album at all. I prefer Mould, just himself and his guitar ala the introspective self titled Bob Mould in 96. Some beautiful stuff there and one of my personal favorite albums of the 90's. Pretty good song, 6.

Didn't know who it was, but I liked the contrast between the guitar and the odd backing. Turns out it's Mould who I know from his Husker Du days (do they play any of that?)

too bad the rest of the album isn't this good. great tune though.

One of Bob's best solo songs. Sugar kicked a$$ however. The last time I saw bob was back in 96-97 after his Bob Mould album. By the time he got to Portland, Or. he had fired his whole band and played acostic until the encore. Ironically it was an great show.

Last I heard Mould was living in DC. He has a blog somewhere - if ya google him you can prolly find it. He has a live CD recorded in London that is just brutally hard and fantastic.

He was originally in Husker Du. Although they are pretty hard, I really loved the songs he had a heavier hand in. (Up in the Air is an awesome Husker Du song.) Not sure where he is now, but he was in Austin, Texas for quite a while. I was lucky enough to see him after the release of Workbook in Dallas. Amazing show. If you want any Bob Mould, definitely get Workbook. I personally love the first 2/3rds of the album. (Not as hot on the songs after Trenton.) If you are looking for something a little harder, Sugar's album Copper Blue is amazing. The Act We Act and If I Can't Change Your Mind are both fantastic songs off that album. He is definitely worth looking into harder! I'm actually really surprised that he doesn't have more songs on RP!

Extremely brief history of Bob Mould: Founding member and one of two driving forces between awesome and critically beloved 80s American punk legends Husker Du. After band broke up, Bob did solo projects for awhile. Then formed his own band, Sugar, another fine outfit. Since it broke up, he's done solo stuff.

Everybody should own the CD by Bob Mould entitled Workbook. One of my top 10 CDs. s

Interestingly, this song was rejected three times from other uploaders before being added. There have been about 10 or more Mould songs rejected otherwise. Bob belongs.
