I really loved him in The Fifth Element.
I liked this song when I first listened to it on the Queen of the Damned Sountrack...and I still like it...Some of you guys gotta chill out and accept music that is different to the norm.
too bad the ratings don't go into negative numbers...
dumb
If you didn't believe in half these things, you'd be stuck in an asylum. "uhh...tall building don't exist!"
From across the room, I thought this was TUSK...
Hell Yes. This was my highway 17 song back in my UCSC days.
Catchy, but in the grand scheme of things it's Taco Bell Mild Sauce.
nothing tricky about this song..eheheh. the first second is too much, then its all excess.. ehehe.. try the veal. is this thing on? *chirp chirp*
...cow bones on front
This song, not good.
Overcome, now that's a good Tricky song. Someone upload?

I know what you mean. Cow bones belong on the FRONT.
And this song is pretty good! Maybe even MORE than pretty good!
I wish RP had Christian Sands

That's because he appeared on two massive attack albums; Blue Lines and Protection. They were all part of a hip hop movement in Bristol called The Wild Bunch before Massive Attack formed.
If you like this song, you haven't heard anything until you've heard his debut 'Maxinquaye'.

Well, that could be because he was featured in their first CD, maybe the second one too. Can't remember off the top of my head.

Sounds like NIN...
Good Stuff

quite average

my sentiments exactly.
why is the vocal mixed so low? it's an annoying muddy mix.
is this supposed to be sexy or something? i can't tell; it's just mud to me.
i don't see what some other people like about this mud.

No, not on this track, that's Alanis. Martina did a lot of the backing vocals on Maxinquaye.
...and said Martina has a solo album out, quite good according to both Mojo and Q magazine, 'Quixotic'

Wow...what a groove!!! Very hot indeed!!!

One of the really great things about this board is that you can always find out who\'s singing background vocals!
As for the rest of the song, I think it has a great beat without overpowering the singing.
i though maxinquaye was really good, but lost track of tricky after pre-millenium tension. his recent stuff isn\'t as good, i don;t think. maybe the novelty\'s just worn off.
Ooooh... nice transition off of Talking Heads\' \"Crosseyed and Painless;\" keep up the good work, --d
makes me think of vampires....
He\'s Cool :p
Like Lily, I often find myself surprised that I enjoy Tricky\'s music so much. He\'s a really unique artist with a knack for writing unconventional, but darkly gorgeous songs. And I love his voice..
A woman named Martina is doing the background vocals.
Tricky is... simply, incredible.
I don\'t know anyone who makes songs quite like
this, so dark and beautiful at the same time.
Thanks for playing, let\'s hear more of this
and Massive Attack!!!
Cool Groove...
My favorite part of this song is Alanis Morissette\'s \"Ah-Ah\"

Sounds like Robbie Robertson on vocals... Kinda cool, but \"I believe in people peeing\"?
Hmmm... Tom Waits comes to mind.

Though they don't make it easy, I kinda believe in this song.
Is that Allanis Morisette on the vocal?
I believe hip-hop marked the fall of the Roman empire, too. Sigh.
Can\'t help boppin\' though, can you?
And then it hops in and hips, or something, again.

This album\'s got about 4 great songs, but as a whole, can\'t compete with his first 3 albums.
