A cover I never would’ve recognized.
Pretty nice. I'm usually not a fan of smurfs doing backing vocals, but here it works.
just bumped to an 8
I feel sorry for those that are tone deaf. This is a jamming cut!
absolutely horrific

Is fixed now. Thank you.
That's very Gramatik style. Good tune though
jus awful. Minstrelsy.
Fabulous interpretation!
I would have never thought I'd dig a song off an album called Street Bangerz Volume 8, but here we are.
I like this quite a bit, but the thing that really makes me grin is loading up the RP page for it and seeing the stodgy Azeri as the artist who made an album called "Street Bangerz Volume 8."

Edit: RP has changed the artist photo and biography. Probably for the best, but I did laugh every time I saw the old one.
I like it. Sounds like Goldfish!
An insult to old Neal, and to my ears!
yup..i agree play the other guy..this song is hot as well!
I did NOT expect to hear Merry Clayton in a remix!
She’s about the most famous backup singer ever.
Now this is a cover reimagined, not that Gorrilaz song on heavy rotation getting all kinds of praise.
Well this is a bit of screw up. This track is by Akshin Alizadeh, a contemporary electronic music producer. The bio is of Agshin Alizadeh, a long-dead Soviet era classical composer. Both from Azerbaijan to be sure and with similar names, but still.  Seems young Akshin doesn't have a bio anywhere online. But his (self-composed) Spotify profile reads as follows:

"A music hobbyist from Baku, Azerbaijan. Playing violin and piano since the age of 6. Combining funky grooves, soulful vibes and live instrumentals with punchy hip-hop beats and modern synths. Holding a master's law degree from LSE and making music occasionally just for fun and not for money."
I wonder if Neil has heard this?   Azerbaijan no less!!!    I think it’s great.  Thx @billg - this is what makes your station SO special.
MM
This type of groove could be more highly represented on RP with absolutely zero complaints from this listener....just sayin'...

Seemingly they are both from Baku, Azerbaijan and their names only differ in one single letter.

I'd love to think it was him, though...  Shame.
