Bricked up a kilo
Paneled down in the back door
All the while I'm riding
To auditions I'm not getting
Why do I keep on returning to you?
All American jawlines
One moment going over scene lines
Grind the scripts like teeth
Why do I keep on returning to you?
Cocaine, cocaine
Swarm TV cameras
Click and stumble at the Chateau
Later, I hear John's
Body got carried out
Ice cream was a code word
Told to me by a code man
These nice hotels
I don't know your clientele
Why do I keep on returning to you?
Cocaine, cocaine
Cocaine, cocaine
Why do I keep on returning to you?
Give me some ice cream
Give it to me now
Oh, now
I'm in the deepest end of an empty pool
(He's never gonna make it)
(He's never gonna make it in LA)
I'm in the deepest end of an empty pool
Cocaine, cocaine
I'm in the deepest end of an empty pool
(He's never gonna make it)

A creature having a shower.
Gus from the band exlained it: "...you could say that the creature in the cover looks like something you might meet in a dream, or you could say it might be experiencing a dream itself. It’s enigmatic but it’s striking, it’s memorable, it’s intriguing, it’s a bit frightening, it’s a bit funny."
thank you for taking the time to help me out. i was very confused.

This song is quickly wearing out its welcome due to the number of plays. I enjoyed it more when it was a more infrequent surprise.

I remember when they carried John's body out. Unfortunately I remember many more after.

Really digging this album. I really like Hard Drive Gold too, which I know Bill has added to our playlist, thankfully.

Must have realized that it is most definitely not a pro-cocaine anthem. There's a radio edit that removes that "trigger" word, but it totally destroys the song's meaning.
