I been alone
All the years
So many ways to count the tears
I never change
I never will
I'm so afraid the way I feel

Days when the rain and the sun are gone
Black as night
Agony's torn at my heart too long
So afraid
Slip and I fall and I die

I been alone
Always down
No one cared to stay around
I never change
I never will
I'm so afraid the way I feel

Days when the rain and the sun are gone
Black as night
Agony's torn at my heart too long
So afraid
Slip and I fall and I die

Nice Tune!
Nice to hear a song I haven't heard since the last time I spun this album!
Superb solo and the version on the Live album (1980) is even better!
Maybe this is just my ignorance showing, but I thought this was some deep-cut Blue Oyster Cult track. A bit ponderous and heavy on the bass for Fleetwood Mac.
okay Forest  TLynneHenry wrote:
I don't have much to say about this, but the song looked lonely without comments. Plus, there's always room in my life for early Mac.

An old 'mac'* won't ever let you down...  Let's see if Bill will work that into his links!

Don't recall this tune when this recording came out.

My internet must be really slow today because the first comment and 14 ratings were posted 9 minutes before I heard it.

Going with a 6 rating to start with.  The guitar solo leading into the fade out the end got my attention.

I saw this song performed by them live in Los Angeles...   Absolutely blew me away.  It was unforgettable despite the 'state of mind' I was in.  The drumming on the live version is incredible.   10 for certain

Early? You need to investigate the actual early Mac! Especially as I think this song has a bit of the (truly) early Mac feel to it.

oops my bad - I thought this was post 'the big change'.  So I guess this is truly late era early mac.
