Love
All these lights are changing
See 'em everywhere
In my veins like lightning, I don't even care
And the crowd is heavy, I don't wanna move
All these colours in me but all I see is you
And nothing else matters
You, baby, it's you
You, baby, it's you
You, baby, it's you
You, baby, it's you
All this painted faces, singing back to me
There's an ocean here, but you are all I see
And nothing else matters
You, baby, it's you
You, baby, it's you
You, baby, it's you
You, baby, it's you
You, baby, it's you
You, baby, it's you
You, baby, it's you

Beautiful words that hang and float above a sparse, infectious beat. Reminds me of Dido singing with Faithless

Just a quick note to add that it turns out that Hannah is a wonderful visual artist as well as a amazing singer/writer. A real tour de force...and about to be or has just become a new mom...wow, right?
Cummon LG, where's da new album?

It's our language here in the UK; we've been abusing it for hundreds of years, and we're allowed to. Anyone else adopting it as their primary language, however, is advised to treat it with a little respect. For starters, words such as 'aluminium' and 'colour' may not have letters removed from them.

Interesting; my take is that uniqueness is unary, whereas mediocrity is a continuum.
Regardless, I don't think the adjective 'mediocre' applies to London Grammar.

I'm an American technical writer and I'm sticking with color, honor, and aluminum with no translations into British English. I have enough languages to deal with including both flavo(u)rs of Portuguese.

But to the music, everything I have heard from this group has been at least good, if not exceptional. Hats off to Bill (for the umpteenth time) for entertaining us.

Hannah's voice melts me...
This song is etherial.
Wow what a departure from their earlier work. I'm starting this at an 8/ border line 9
This song gets better every time I hear it. Hannah!
Love the new album, beautiful production, addictively melodic and what a voice!
A little short on lyrics, but okay.
It's always a treat just to hear Hannah sing.
Hannah has such a beautiful voice!
So looking forward to seeing them down under next year.
Sometimes a nice, simple song is a pleasure. Count me a solid 8.
what the hell happened to the rest of the band? this is appalling.
I mean, the best thing about LG - apart from her voice - of course - was the sparse instrumentation underlying it all. I thought that was an absolutely brilliant pairing and then they do this..

Got a Florence and Machine vibe to it.

How is it that London Grammar has not made a splash in the States yet? This woman's voice is unbelievable!

Having listened to her closely, I think she's eliding the two words - more like "I don't wantto move". In any case, as a British person and a pedant to boot, I don't mind the demotic "wanna", particularly sung by such a beautiful voice.
"I don't wanna move"
This is US grammar!
I know how amazing you can be and this isn't your best song, sorry.
Apologies from a pedantic English teacher and fan.

Would you Adam & Eve it! An English cultural exchange on RP :)
US English is odd. They tried to get rid of useless letters like the i in aluminium and the u in colour, then got to words starting with D and got into trouble with doubt. Dobt just doesn't work. They continued to E and gave up at enough.

Weird. Bill announced this track, but it played as silence.
I always find it interesting to read the negative feed backs and yet, if those same people were to stand up or sit and sing to a live audience might find it not an easy thing to do. Take it from me...I am a total amateur and gave it a try. My leg shook so hard as I held my guitar on my lap! Some of the best of them out there get stage fright. So my hat goes off to anybody who has the courage to perform.

SO AWESOME to see London Grammer releasing new material. Hannah Reid has one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard. Great to see Bill has already put the this into the rotation already.....

Hilarious. The key question is will "wanna" increase sales and concert attendance in the USA? Frankly, I don't think so.
From what I believe I have observed over the years, UK artists who sing with a British (English) accent do rather well in the USA.
Minor point: Is it "US grammar" or simply North American usage? "Wanna" is also used in the UK if I am not mistaken.

I like it, sounds like this will be a whole album listen, not just one or two songs.

I agree, too “produced”.
They need to listen to their old records to know what we like about them.

First comment on this song... I find it very interesting, some sort of evolution from their previous sound. Looking forward to what the crowd says
