I actually rather like this song and i think its sad people assume my comment is negative.

This album cover makes me want to me want to be there. It makes me think of some beautiful video game world, like Journey, or Celeste.

A beautiful song. Elbow are such an excellent band. Great on stage in a small or medium and intimate venue where Guy Garvey can interact with the audience.

I really like Elbow, but this song just doesn't work for me. The melody and heartfelt lyrics are ruined by the percussion. It sounds like two separate songs competing against each other.

We are lucky in the US as I think they play much larger venues in England. Saw them years ago at the 9:30 club. Great concert.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse have played the past three nights in a small venue in Fresno (seats 2,000) and will play the next two in Bakersfield. I have friends who were fortunate to go to last night's Fresno show, and they all said it was fabulous.

I dig this bit of Elbow (could enjoy it in a dark cheap lower east side joint, one of those 3 steps below street level where you almost bump into the bar on your way in and the bright eyed lady bartender takes care of you immediately, yeah gonna be a good night : )

I just finished my first full-through listen of this album, which I thought I would really enjoy....seems like BillG has picked the few tracks that are worth playing here as I found the rest of the album not that good.  Still I will always LOVE track #1 (Magnificent (She Says)) and K2 and this track. And maybe there was another I'm forgetting.  Not being a long time Elbow fan (well...I like MY elbows a lot) I think they were better before the drummer called it quitso.

 
On the other hand, I just finished the same listening exercise with the newest Spoon album (Hot Thoughts) and that one totally ROCKS...it's staying in my truck's CD player for the time being. 

Now just waiting a month for The War On Drugs album coming out in August....hopefully that one is as good as the 3 tracks we've heard from it.

Yep, I'm giving this one the elbow, much as I do with the rest of Elbow's oeuvre. There's a fine line between elegaic and soporific, and sadly for me Elbow induces narcolepsy {#Sleep}
