Although Jack White (white stripes) has a different voice then Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead) I can hear the similarities with the high tone of both of them in this song. This is a great track.

not so familiar with Jack White when I should have been, as it was music from my late teens early 20s I think re: White Stripes), but glad to have discovered him as an almost 50 yr old adult - such a talented musician

Being not familiar with Jack's music or the White Stripes, when I first heard this song today, my first reaction was that is was a song I had heard somewhere before, and I thought it was an old Grateful Dead tune I had heard years ago. Surprise. But it's good stuff. Don't understand why some people that comment seem negative. Good music is good music, even if it's not always my favorite. Peace and joy my brothers and sisters.
I like Jack White. Whether or not I like a particular song, he/Raconteurs/White Stripes/Dead Weather always make me stop and check who it is- because I like what I hear. Of course, that is IMHO.

Seeing some interviews with him I get the impression he is willing to try anything musically to see if it would work or not. Most times it does to certain extent.
I really like some of his stuff other bits not so much but I do appreciate the talent.

Looks like the stint with The Raconteurs did his songwriting some good.
