Was just looking at my ratings and saw I gave this a 5. Must have been drunk.

Yeah, I kind of feel the same way...I have always enjoyed them despite all the flogging they get here. However, this really doesn't do anything for me. Hope the rest of the record is better than this.
Yeah, this is the first i hear this new single but it's not doing anything for me either... It's all getting a bit happy and trendy, not for me...

man, these guys keep getting more and more generic.... i continue to lose respect for their music. meh on this tune...
Eh. Listening while I work and didn't even notice when it ended. Not terrible. Not good. Just bland and forgettable pop.

I've wasted a lot of words and keystrokes defending this band over the years, seen them in concert in five states and two countries, and danced my first wedding dance to Green Eyes.
That all said, yikes. Come on boys, you aren't a pop band, are you? You were much better as Radiohead-lite than U2-lite.
Thankfully the other stuff off the new album sounds pretty good. We'll be hearing "Major Minus" on RP this time next week.

YUPIIIII!!!
Hmmm. . . Viva La Vida rehash. . .
I turn the music up
I got my records on
I shut the world outside until the lights come on
Maybe the streets alight
Maybe the trees are gone
I feel my heart start beatin' to my favorite song
And all the kids they dance
All the kids all night
Until Monday mornin' feels another life
I turn the music up
I'm on a roll this time
And heaven is in sight
I turn the music up
I got my records on
From underneath the rubble sing a rebel song
Don't want to see another generation drop
I'd rather be a comma than a full stop
Maybe I'm in the black
Maybe I'm on my knees
Maybe I'm in the gap between the two trapezes
But my heart is beating and my pulses start
Cathedrals in my heart
As we saw, woah, this light
I swear you, emerge blinking into
To tell me it's alright
As we soar walls
Every siren is a symphony
And every tear's a waterfall
Is a waterfall, oh
Is a waterfall, oh-oh-oh
Is a, is a waterfall
Every tear
Is a waterfall, oh-oh-oh
So you can hurt
Hurt me bad
But still I'll raise the flag
Ooh
It was a wa-wa-wa-wa-waterfall
A wa-wa-wa-wa-waterfall
Every tear, every tear
Every teardrop is a waterfall
Every tear, every tear
Every teardrop is a waterfall
Every tear, every tear
Every teardrop is a waterfall
Every tear, every tear
Every teardrop is a waterfall
Every tear, every tear
Every teardrop is a waterfall
