1br/1ba hrdwd flrs w/vw of trees.
1br/1ba prkg space 4 xtra fee.
My little flock of boxes and I surrounded by a painted-white unknown.
Soon as this wall in my heart comes down, I'm gonna make it feel like home.
1br/1ba: A/C was fine 'til yesterday.
1br/1ba: 89 degrees today.
My upstairs neighbors are making sounds that I never want to hear.
I hope they're just moving furniture around, and really liking their ideas.

I find this song boring and annoying... It sounds like someone trying really hard to be Tori Amos and Alison Krauss at the same time.

Caught my attention immediately...but then her voice is always stunning and perfect.
it has grown on me . . .

What? Then he wouldn't have anything to whine and swear about. Solid 8.

Great, like the piano.
First thing I've liked from her in years. 8

Thanks for this. Sometimes I wish Bill would just block these juvenile morons but I guess it is a democracy, for better or worse.
Ahh, the finesse, the refinement, the subtlety! One appreciates the intellectual sophistication behind comments like this.

Tasty tune. Looking forward to seeing her at The Palms in Winters in a couple of weeks

Her live versions of this songs are excellent, lot's of energy with a few different variations of the lyrics/presentation.
I musta been living under a rock, I have her first two albums, but didn't know this one existed. This song's a bit quirky, but catchy. Not sure if it'll stand the test of time for me, but it was an enjoyable little distraction tonight.
Heh, I thought the title was "Dreaming Through the Nose". Good tune, in any case.
Good luck to everyone moving this weekend. Very apropos song. Oh yeah, and I love Vienna.
tasty

"Pontchartrain" and "Recessional," I think, are the two best songs on the album, but this one, which I thought was one of her weaker efforts, has grown on me.
i feel that "city hall" and "nothing without you" are the two best tracks on the album.
this one i dont care for, although it's creative and good and fun.
the whole album has such a relaxed, loungy feel to it, quite in contrast to the previous album which overall i prefer to "dreaming"
her voice on this album is outstanding.

Couldn't agree more. It's one of my favorite things about RP. And its something I pointed out to my Senator & Congressman. I have bought more music since I started listening to RP than ever before in my life!
lol likewise! ... almost. i bought a ton of music when i was 14-18, but since then till i found RP (28) i wasnt inspired to buy music.
RP has added much to my personal musical taste and collection.
THANK YOU RP!
Sweet.

There were a couple of songs on this cd that I liked better... Whatever You Want and City Hall, specifically, but this one isn't bad.
She is CUTE AS A BUTTON in person- sweet, soft-spoken and when I met her, seemingly surprised (and genuinely grateful) by her own success.
I'll bet she thought you were cute as a button too.
Really nice. Love the piano!!
Tori Amos + Bobbie Gentry

Nice. I like this more than her "softer" songs.
Very interesting, funky, pleasant -- nice mix of fiddle and piano, and I like her voice. More please?

A little disappointed, but I still find the instrumentals interesting. Not interested in the lyrics at the moment.
