Guitar playing cannot get any better than this!
His father wanted his brother to play the guitar but his brother could not grasp it. Paco watched him torturing the guitar and said "that is easy" took the guitar and the rest is history!

Holy Grail opening credits - skip to 2:55
Dunno why my brain goes here but...
The directors of the firm hired to continue the credits after the other people had been sacked, wish it to be known that they have just been sacked. The credits have been completed in an entirely different style at great expense and at the last minute.

Check out the recordings he's done with John McLaughlin and Al Di Meola. "Friday night in San Francisco" is a live recording of the kind of concert you'd kill to attend. "Passion, Grace and Fire" is gorgeous.

I saw him live in Austin - fabuloso!

I don't care for much of Paco's playing, but this is so much fun. Olé!
Paco is soooo fast with his fingers... everybody in my mushrooming multitude of churches is impressed with his flamenco guitar work... very groovy music...

Wow. In the seven years I've been listening I never heard Paco de Lucia on RP. Such an awesome guitarist.

If you like this, check out Julio Jaramillo!
I knew three brothers by the name of Canela.
And here I am still doing open chords! Guess I gotta start somewhere. Nice tune, awesome playing.

Me too but I'd like a nice big stack of marshall amps, a few foot petals just in case I got bored

Very, very nice!!
God! This is simply awesome!
Simply amazing! I did not know De Lucía had a version of this tune "La Flor de La Canela" (The Cinammon Flower). Great music! That's why I love Radio Paradise.

Chabuca Granda was composer of this classic peruvian tune.

Great Tune!!
my favourite is la flor de la canela, sung by marÃa dolores pradera (Spaniard), but Paco de LucÃa is a master. olé, maestro.
Greatest thing I discovered for myself in Spain a couple of years ago...Paco de Lucia. Good play Bill.
Personally I find authentic ethnic styles so much more interesting than 'world' music.
Outstanding flamenco guitarist!
Bill....Now how about some Ottmar Liebert??
¡Olé, Olé y Olé!
I saw him live in Austin - fabuloso!
Beautifull.
Delightful. I can feel the sun
Haven't even heard this yet, but ANYTHING by Paco is godlike. The man is a flamenco monster.
This guy is the most amazing guitarist. He is so precise you can hear every note perfectly.

YES! It is on the RP Playlist! Thanx RP!
