Always brings back memories of my annual GB&U film festival.  Back in them there days, you had to wait to watch it on TV, and the local station generally showed it once a year. I'd be ready, Saturday night with my Humpty Dumpty variety pack of chips and my Domino (Dominion store brand) can of root beer. Who needed girls?

Perhaps the most recognizable piece of film music in history and certainly one of the most iconic.  I first heard this when I was about 12 when I saw the film for the first time. It resonated deeply then and continues to do so now. Straight 10.

I simply cannot hear the main riff without picturing Curly.  I think that SCTV "commercial" of Curly from Three Stooges singing the great classics ruined it for me.

This is one of my long time fave's.  I was SHOCKED to see on the Academy Awards this year that Morricone just won his first ever Academy Award (I forget what for).  Talk about talent falling through the cracks!!  BTW, I generally could care less about the Academy Awards; this items was very interesting though...  I'm very glad Bill plays this regularly!
