Standing here on this burning bridge
Trying to figure out but there's nothing here
Seem like they got the fear
Cattle grids rattle gold chains pay it back
Just cancel the chickens
And tell your son that he should steal the gold

The kings send their knights, check these soul satellites
Test transmission is calling me back home
The kings send their knights, check these soul satellites
Test transmission is calling me back home

Too messed up to perform this
Can't you see I'll only miss you now
And memories get, they get washed to the seas
Feeding tape through the fabric, must tune in
Unless you're trapped tomorrow
Get out the sun, get out before it gets you back

The kings send their knights, check these soul satellites
Test transmission is calling me back home
The kings send their knights, check these soul satellites
Test transmission is calling me back home

And I feel close enough, taste the change, feel the rays
It's gonna get you again, setting sun is coming back again
And I feel close enough, taste the change, feel the rays
It's gonna get you again, setting sun is coming back again

Why is Kasabian a bad name?

this tune reminds me of the alpinestars. don't here much from those guys on here anymore. too bad, they rock. oh yeah, this song is okay too.
I hear it too. Good call!
Another ACL Music Fest act. I'm really looking forward to these guys. And no scheduling conflict. They play right after Leo Kottke and before Steve Earle. Beautiful. Likeable tune.

whats so special?
So because this is only a test, I will wait for the real song.... Seriously, though, does anyone else hear the Beatles tune (sung by George) Waiting for Someone (or something like that...)?? EDIT: The song I was thinking of was If I Needed Someone. It was on the UK version of Rubber Soul, and in America it was released on Yesterday....and Today. Go listen to that song, and tell me this one doesn't totally rip it off for the melody!!

Ditto. I waited, wanting to like it for it's uniqueness <-o< ... I'm still waiting. Perhaps next time it will sound different to me. :-k
I saw the name of this band on the playlist and wondered if they had been named after the famous Linda Kasabian of Charles Manson Family fame. I looked on AMG and they are!
I have to say that "Reason Is Treason" on this CD is a much better song... This one is ok...
hmm. . . they're kinda not backing up the b.s. as they say.
:)

I like. Thought I heard Chrissie Hynde in there for a moment. Not a bad thing at all.
