Picked me up at eight o'clock
Took me down the station
Went through every file they had
I finally made an identification
Picked her out of a thousand faces
Swear I could tell by the smile
Broke down, started crying
He put his hand on my shoulder
"It'll be alright in a while"
Suspicion of love
Love
Suspicion of love
Love
I said, "Go easy on her if you can
She treats me bad, that's just her way"
He said, "Son, why don't you let me deal with this?
I see these women everyday"
Suspicion of love
Love
Suspicion of love
Love
How come she's runnin' hey?
How come she hurt me this way?
Suspicion of love

GREAT TUNE! Chris Isaak with a thumpin' kick drum. Totally cool. Thanx RP!

Had a similar experience. Circa 1989-90, just when he was starting to get big, he played the 930 Club in DC, a good sized bar, but still an intimate venue. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen.
Long time ago (1998) I saw Chris Isaak open for Sarah McLachlan at the Elora Gorge (in Ontario, Canada) -- the stage was a barge floating in the water in the bottom of the gorge and the audience sat around the rock cliffs looking down on them; a warm summer night as the sun set around us. It was an astoundingly magical setting for a concert and the two most perfect artists to hear there -- a favourite memory!

Yeah...this cat is cool
Since Roy Orbison passed away, Chris Isaak & Brian Ferry are the two BEST Crooners, still alive! ...But, completely different styles!
