Winners, losers
I lost my power in this world
'Cause I did not use it
So I go insane
Like I always do
And I call your name
She's a lot like you
Two kinds of trouble in this world
Living, dying
I lost my power in this world
And the rumors are flying
So I go insane
Like I always do

I've got mine in my hands (lap) right now. Pretty minty condition It'll be up shortly for listening and ripping. Wonder if BG would like to add some of this album to the library.
It's on the DVD but apparently not on the album.
Sorry, today it's 77 people killed in Nice.
Same 2 song set just now - which is making me apprehensive to turn on the news....please don't be another massacre today
I couldn't agree more. Those of us who grew up in the 60's and 70's are still searching for music this good....Is it sentimentality, or just fact?
Sorry I can't help, as I too would love to get this on CD - I think a version, maybe this one does appear on the dvd of the show, but am not sure...
It's on the Dance video. We LOVE this rendition & feel his passion. When we watch the video we can't help but play it over & over. He definitely is an underrated guitarist. Sorry for the late response... just saw this post.
It really does sound like Stevie (was it her?) really ripped his heart out doesn't it? Then again it nicely sums up how any lover feels when rejected....

How can I possibly combine waiting with already came, and be happy ?
Sorry. I'll try to fix the links. Our clever software won't pass the proper code to Amazon to link to a DVD:

sad ...
anyone with an idea where to really find this recording on CD ?

Yeah. That guitar always makes me stop and listen. I can't quite sort it out but I do think it's genius.
Just saw them for the 2nd time this year....both shows that good! Heard this live...twice!!
Had NO idea he was THAT good a guitar player, standing O a couple times....
Agreed but an often overwrought singer.
Have to agree. A personal beef: don't insert "h" in the middle of held vowels: pronouncing "alot" as "a-lah-hot". Or "love" becomes "luh-huv". Please no! Taylor Swift (can't avoid it, tweens at our house) does this and I can't stand to listen to it, though she is getting some better. It's one of the first things vocal teachers correct. It's never too late to get singing lessons.

And he keeps getting better.
Nice version of this.
"Ooooh Weeee.... What's up with that, what's up with that!'
And he keeps getting better.
Totally agree. His guitar playing is criminally underrated. Lindsey's One Man Show tour in 2012 was a great showcase for his guitar playing. He blew audiences away. If you want to hear just how great Lindsey can be on guitar, I recommend downloading that live release.
Historically, the majority of rock musicians could not read music - especially guitar players.
Lindsey evidently plays on 3 tracks of the new Nine Inch Nails album.
Trent Reznor is a big fan of Mr. Buckingham

Nope - I think he never got the proper credit, period.
Well he got characterized in a SNL skit, that's some recognition,

Ages ago, after Fleetwood Mac had slipped into temporary obscurity before they hit the Oldies circuit, I saw Buckingham in a regional radio station where I had gone to drop off some advertising comps. He was sitting in the live studio, playing "Bleed to Love Her" and he was playing his ass off. I was transfixed, thinking bout this major talent playing his heart out for the benefit of drivetime assholes in the RDU rush hour traffic.
No justice in this universe, I tell ya.
Beautiful music - I know this pain, just can't sing a lick.
I digress slightly but I bought one of her solo albums, that was OK, then a second which was a woeful collection of chip on her shoulder diatribe.
But this is powerful stuff.
Everybody in my church loves this song...
That's a big jump, I know. I saw a recording of him on TV performing this live and it really made me take notice. I am not sure why I thought so little of it before.
He finally really showed up!

Open up the engine and fly... towards or away from too much and not enough... Good album... Open windows and crank the speakers... wait for Tusk...
And he keeps getting better.
Nice version of this.

This is just a Spanish serenade, bummer.
Hmmm...I got confused as to how someone could be self adring and be a flagellant. Thinking that this may be an oxymoron but worried that I may be confused, to confirm my understanding I went to Wiki and they say Flagellants are practitioners of an extreme form of mortification of their own flesh by whipping it with various instruments. Now I'm just wondering, but wouldn't someone who was a flagellant be insane, particularly if they did it to be self-adoring? Just wondering...
I happen to really like this version
I actually did a history paper on this. The flagellants were a movement that stated around 1348 when the plague hit Europe. They marched from town to town, whipping themselves bloody with leather that had sharp metal tips attached. The idea was that God had left the people and brought the plague as punishment, so the flagellants were trying to atone for the wickedness of themselves and others. They were a pretty self-righteous bunch.
I think that's how you can be self-adoring AND a flagellant. There's a feeling of superiority with every whipslice

"go insane" didn't make it to the CD but only the DVD. is there anywhere I can get as an MP3 only?

I'm not a big devotee of Lindsey Buckingham, but he is an outstanding guitar player, and yes, he very seldom - if ever - uses a pick.
Heard "Keith don't go" by Nils about 3 hours ago...here. First time hearing this Lyndsay Buckingham song for me......straight to an eight. 8.
I love Lindsey Buckingham's work.
It's not even a portrait of Lindsay Buckingham!
Calypsus, please, use a little discretion.

Pickwork OK.
Pretty sure Lindsey doesn't use picks—just fingernails, I think. He kind of tucks his thumb in the hole behind the strings and plucks with all four fingers. Interesting style—incredible sound.
Pickwork OK.
Bill! Cut it out!
I just came here to say the same thing. That is an amazing album; one of my favorites. The raw emotion Buckingham puts into this song is just wonderful.
Recursive, or what?
Good one!

I EFFIN' LOVE IT! That's some intensity you can't catch on a studio album.
Yes, I concur. This is very nice, but a bit overwrought. I'm wondering if there is a version with Nicks singing along with him. I kept thinking she was going to come in somewhere here.
I was just going to post the same thing. Visceral.
