So Jesus left you lonely, feels like nothing's really holy
No one, no one hears your calling, falling, everything is falling

Do you feel alive? Can you feel alive?
Do you feel alive? Can you feel alive?

So Jesus left you lonely, feels like nothing's really holy
No one, no one hears your calling, falling, everything is falling

Do you feel alive? Can you feel alive?
Do you feel alive? Can you feel alive?

Try so hard just to speak to you, nothing ever seems to come through
Circumstances on the breaking back, trying to sit down is a therapy

Oh, salvation, oh, salvation, oh, salvation, oh, salvation
Do you feel alive? Can you feel alive?
Do you feel alive? Can you feel alive?
Do you feel alive? Can you feel alive?
Do you feel alive? Can you feel alive?

I just can't get into the way that these guys record their vocals...does it need to sound so affected and restrained...and, I don't know, processed?

Just doesn't resonate with me emotionally...isn't that the idea of rock?  Make you move or angry or fire you up....or at the very least make one connect...

This is almost amazing. It feels like it’s just missing a tiny bit of something indefinable.

Like a ray of sunlight or a life line into the tar pit that is this 'song'?
I'm definitely a fan of BRMC, but not very excited about this particular song.
Here's a band whose name doesn't match their sound. My stereotype I guess. Great song though.

Definitely, especially the cover on "Slade Alive", but that was considerably more mental too.
Love the ringing guitar sound. Reminds me of John Ashton from the first Psychedelic Furs album.

This is very weak Space Rock.

Just play  some  Spiritualized.

100x better.
Love this band. Underated. Not played enough in the UK.
This is almost amazing. It feels like it’s just missing a tiny bit of something indefinable. Some falsetto or a streained vocal maybe? And some sort of creschendo or resolution in the drone…

Still gets a 7.
Darlin' be home soon...
Thanks for playing Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.  Not many stations do, and I absolutely love this band!

"It is good to hear Love and Rockets again."  ... and I see others mention them as well, as far back as 17 years ago...   like yours 14 years ago.   Agreed!  Time ticks on, but good music memory lasts forever.   I used to have the record.  The one with Ball of Confusion.  Great band... loved them.

Hey Bill, if you are going to play this type of music on the great RP Then play Spiritualized and Spacemen 3.  They are much more worthy. True Pioneers. Just saying.
Got to meet them at GMF in March. Got a nice hug from Robert (much taller than I thought) and boy Leah was something.    It was mid-80's and climbing but Peter wanted to keep on his black leather.... (it's the image thing).... that didn't last long. LOL.

Sublime set.
more like simple boys vespa meeting.....

Exactly my thought, except on wrong speed.

Came here to mention that.
And that song sounds a lot like Godley & Creme.

Was at a BRMG gig in a pretty small venue a few years ago and they played this. I was totally blown away. Such a simple track but it hit me like a wall of sound and with such a force of energy.

They are an amazing live band. If they are touring near you then check them out!

Marvellous.

Beatles live on.
It is good to hear Love and Rockets again.
This cd is by far one of my favorites. I happened upon this band in this tiny little dive in Birmingham, AL...what a great show!!! I can see why RP chose this song from the cd, as most of them are a lot louder and harder than this.
those guys have some really great songs, but this ain't one of them. gave itt a 2...
They're actually from around the corner (almost)... S.F.
great album, great band, great live. this the only track i really dont like at all!
one of my least favorite songs on a great album. BRMC is the real deal, good stuff, great music :-)

I think you are correct...I just got the album is quite likeable, creative, some dark undertones...The band need some more experience and polishing but overall they are great...

Ditto, ditto. Especially as I saw Sebastian do this song with his acoustic guitar and a small amp alone at the Filmore East circa 1969.

I really like this. Would love to hear more form BRMG.
this band has grown on me big-time over the past several months.
Gee, think these guys listened to alot of Velvet Underground?
Reminded me a bit of Love and Rockets.
8) Good album!

Liked this when they used to play it on the \"Homicide\" t.v. series. Still like it. Will buy a CD now that I know who the artist is. SO THERE to the industry opponents of web radio.
It\'s \"My Darling Be Home Soon\" by John Sebastian!!!! Oops. Sorry Johray63. Seems you already noticed that. Oh, well, doesn\'t make it any less true. (Don\'t forget the GREAT version by Joe Cocker.) Actually, I\'m digging this.
One of the weakest tracks on the album. They have songs that are as equally trance-like as this one but with more of an edge. Definitely a Love & Rockets vibe going on here. Great stuff.
Actually the first chord progression reminded me of the beginning of the wedding march. Anyone else thinkk this?

Kinda slow and repeatitive... but I like it.

We need more of these boys, but play something with a bit more bite, please. I want some of that-there feedback that BRMC is famous for. While we\'re at it, how about some Medicine? Samiyam

Yawn . . .
Not diggin it at all. . . Too preachy. I know that\'s the entire intention, but it\'s cliche.
A very impressive debut. B.R.M.C. shows a lot of promise and they fit well in RP\'s format. Add more of them to the playlist, Bill. PLEASE!!!
