Sunlight bright upon my pillow
Lighter than an eiderdown
Will she let the weeping willow
Wind his branches round
Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams
Every night I turn the light out
Waiting for the velvet bride
Will the scaly armadillo
Find me where I'm hiding
Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams
Will the misty master break me
Will the key unlock my mind
Will the following footsteps catch me
Am I really dying
Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams
Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams
Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams
Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams
Lighter than an eiderdown
Will she let the weeping willow

Will the following footsteps catch me
Am I really dying
Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams
Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams

Sorry for being contrarian about early Pink Floyd, but I personally think this is where Spinal Tap got their hilarious satire. These are like the first chords you learn to strum out on a guitar, and then you write about dreams, and stuff. I adore later Pink Floyd. But as tragic as Sid Barrett's later life was, the whole band's musical ability in this period is over-rated, though this is a Roger Water's song. Too young to experience Pink Floyd in the 60s first hand, and so I have no nostalgia about it.

Excellent. A song you will never hear on those awful FM radio. Long live RP!

Man, this sounds just like Pink Floyd!

Sorry it's taken 12 years to 'react' to this post!! The length of tracks in the 60s was to do with UK radio play time - very rare then for a track to exceed 2Mins - even Queen had issues with Bohemian Rhapsody!!
wish this song can go longer, why do they have to make it so short

Love the album cover. So steam-punk, decades before the genre existed!
"Relics" is right. Not for me, I'm afraid

I do too, but Pink Floyd grew into something special. I'd forgotten about this little ditty. I wish it had stayed forgotten.

This is Roger Waters attempt to sound like Syd after the madcap could no longer create. As such it is a rare transitional moment in the Odyssey of this phenomenal group.
Bring on Sid Barrett
Great job of digging out the rarer PF music! Bravo!!!!!!!!
now if they could stand
Woah - talk about OLD SCHOOL Floyd.
