The best part of this wonderful song are those last 2 bars or so where he walks a major chord to end it with a nice little lift. Like the effect of sunshine itself.

Yes, my all time favorite Beatle as well.  So enjoyed the documentary on him, I think it was on Netflix.  Very much worth watching.  He was a good man and tried to do his best for this world.  He lived LOVE every day.

In an aside:  I realize the American spell check does not approve of my stubbornly using British commonwealth spelling.  However, while I am not surprised that Beatles is considered a proper word, the singular is surprisingly viewed as a mispelling.
