Who can you trust when you need to?
Why do we rust when we heed you?
Crashing back down to earth I've found
We can love

Oh, let me see
All of the places that I can be
Oh, let me know
All of the places where we can go

Do you ever think in bubbles?
Do you ever shake up troubles?
Falling apart right from the start
Crawling 'round

Oh, let me see
All of the places that I can be
Oh, let me know
All of the places where we can go

Show us how to stand up, strong
Waiting, for you takes so long
Shadows leave us standing naked
We can't fake it

Oh, let me see
All of the places that I can be
Oh, let me know
All of the places where we can go

Oh, let me see
All of the places that I can be
Oh, let me know
All of the places where we can go

A rather odd place to find a Mark Hollis tribute post, but okay...can't disagree with the sentiment, but not sure how Morcheeba connected to him.  Let me see?

I've noticed that the browser app gets out of sync, playing one track while showing the information for another, I'm guessing OP was listening to Talk Talk and didn't notice the app was showing Morcheeba comments.

RIP Mark Hollis. Excellent song from a fascinating and otherworldly album. I don't think the record company liked it but it was the album the band wanted to make. Thanks for some great music Mark!

Cleverly subtle after Amadou & Mariam who are both blind.
Lot of Morcheeba today. Keep up the winning streak.

The singer Skye Edwards is one of those rare people that is naturally sexy and yet not sluttly.  The sort of sexy girl you could take home to meet your parents and they would love her too.

Have I fallen asleep and woken up in the 1970's?  FFS
Had tickets to go and see them last summer…was the wife and I first venture out, post COVID lockdown and was really looking forward to it. Got to the cornish beachside venue early and was enjoying drinks and the chilled vibe…only to begin over hearing chatter that Morcheeba weren’t in-fact coming. My wife, accompanying friends and I then went and asked the security if this was true…sadly it was, they’d got COVID in their camp so had to pull out. The venue had in fact put up the tiniest A4 printed sign outside as you came in…but it was so inconspicuous we’d missed it…total bummer.
I know the version of this song with Talib Kweli, which is fantastic. Didn't know about this song and I'm glad I do -- mellow and witchy.

Casual misogyny at its most chill is still misogyny, I'm afraid.

Nice follow up from Porcupine Tree - Prodigal.

This entire CD has a marijuana sub-culture feel to it.  One of the rare pieces of hip hop that I like.

Don't worry, the hard-drinking, non-marijuana-smoking friends like this CD too.  -hehe-

I suppose the name "More Cheeba" may be a not so subtle tip-off in contributing to the "marijuana sub-culture feel." I am glad you are, nevertheless of choice of substances, enjoying this music. I would now insert a "spliff" emoticon here if RP had one.

Yeah, the whole thing doesn't play so well in the post-incel era. Best not to talk about how you find someone sexy enough to introduce to your parents, who won't slut-shame them (?)

control speech to then attempt to control thoughts

I'd marry her for that voice alone. It just sinks into my spine and rests there nicely.

What an album this was. Nothing else they've done has even come close to being as good as this. Bill why not play the track "Fear And Love"

I don't know why I never bought this CD.  Must rectify that immediately!
Skates pretty close to the edge of blandness but just avoids it

I so nearly bought this CD, as it came time to pay, I was scared the novelty would wear off, but when I hear it, it lingers just there where it's comfortable. So perhaps this should be a purchase!
Oh, it's high quality, I highly recommend it!

I like it when pretty girls sing about "standing naked". Seriously, very cool song.
Good song change from Porcupine Tree - Sleep Together. I like this song.

I second that. Haven't stopped playing this CD since I bought it all those years ago.

morcheeba.....most chilling music ever heard. best song: way beyond!

I saw this band in Chapel Hill in the late 90's. It was at the Cat's Cradle with a tightly packed crowd. Someone threw a joint on stage and Morcheeba lived up to its name. Honestly, Skye has an amazing stage presence and the band is down to Earth. I think the keyboardist was trying to go home with my roommate at the time. (though he wasn't a regular part of the band)
The opening riffs to this remind me of a Crowded House song......?
8. First time I've heard this group. Like the singer. Like the song. Like the vibe.
Got a big surprise just now......came on here to rate the song and I see the CD cover photo and it hits me Long ago (in the late 90's) I was at a Lilith Fair concert in Atlanta and they were giving away free promo cassettes (yes cassetes! ) of Morcheeba. I never got around to finding a cassete player to listen to it. Oh well better late than never huh?

Oh wonderful Morcheeba - so groovey to work to.
I have a little note on my computer with names of bands to investigate when I get time. Haven\'t actually used it in a long time. Pulled it up just now and the only thing on it is--Morcheeba! That must mean I likes it.
