Can’t you hear that rooster crowin’?
Rabbit runnin’ down across the road
Underneath the bridge where the water flowed through
So happy just to see you smile
Underneath the sky of blue
On this new morning, new morning
On this new morning with you
Can’t you hear that motor turnin’?
Automobile comin’ into style
Comin’ down the road for a country mile or two
So happy just to see you smile
Underneath the sky of blue
On this new morning, new morning
On this new morning with you
The night passed away so quickly
It always does when you’re with me
Can’t you feel that sun a-shinin’?
Groundhog runnin’ by the country stream
This must be the day that all of my dreams come true
So happy just to be alive
Underneath the sky of blue
On this new morning, new morning
On this new morning with you
So happy just to be alive
Underneath the sky of blue
On this new morning, new morning
On this new morning with you
New morning . . .
Rabbit runnin’ down across the road
Underneath the bridge where the water flowed through
So happy just to see you smile
Underneath the sky of blue
On this new morning, new morning
On this new morning with you
Can’t you hear that motor turnin’?

On this new morning, new morning
On this new morning with you
So happy just to be alive
Underneath the sky of blue
On this new morning, new morning
On this new morning with you
New morning . . .

Joyful Bob sounds great, call it an 8 and look forward to hearing in "My Favorites" or an occasional "Main Mix" spin, thanks William, Alanna and crew!!

Actually he's much older.
In fact he'll be 81 in six days.
How can Dylan be less than 7?

You're right... that's as dumb as rating it a 10 because it's Dylan. I rated it a 2... Nothing personal.
very cheerful, and very warm produced
i know music is a matter of taste - and only a matter of taste
but c'omon to rate this a 1 - this states more about the listener than the artist...
sorry nothing personnel - but really...

You wouldn't write that if you were a fan.
I’m a huge Bob fan, by this sounds like an Sesame Street track....

Rise with Gratitude! Every new morning is a gift from God !

I understand "idiot_wind" being huge Bob fan. And his earlier comment about roosters crowing makes me want to hear Meet Me In the Morning.
But, Sweet_Virginia? Sounds like a huge Rolling Stones fan...
I'm a huge fan of both (couldn't cross breed the two into a clever online name, so ended up with my own). But, this "New Morning" leaves me all jingle jangled...

Oh, this was enjoyable! Didn't know that song before and the warm voice, melody and lyrics are so much in sync, I had the scene vividly in mind.
Keep playing Dylan, Bill, no matter what the haters say! More people need to hear him.

Of course, ratings are ALL about the listener and their opinion. Has this ever not been true??

Hello there Bob, here's a 9
Was this song just posted? How the heck does it start off with a 5.3 rating?!

I only rate songs I want to be in "My Mix", in order to curate my own station from the gems played in the main mix. I waited a year, logging over 2500 songs before I began using that as one of the stations I can choose.
If you don't like the song, click the >I button and put yourself out of your misery.
Bill doesn't care if you like the songs or not- it won't change the way he programs (and bless him for that), Other listeners don't care how much you like something either.
Rating a song 1 and then needing to let everyone know how displeased you are is pretty sad. It's like holding a chunk of burning coal in your hand- you're the only one it affects.
