I met a girl she was half out of her mind.
That's okay cause I'm half out of mine.
She said I'm tired of love, all the games, and crying.
And all I want from you is a real good time.

Said I know how you feel cause I've been there too.
She said you're wasting time we got things to do.

I like the way you move me.
I like the way you bring it to me.
Love the way you know what's on my mind.

I like the way you shake it.
I like the way you don't have to fake it.
Knew right from the start it would be fine.

Later.
I was laying in bed trying to catch my breath.
Half ashamed half smiling at the things we did.
She made it clear from the start it was a one night stand.
But I was thinking of ways to make her change her plan.

Nobody else ever made me feel this way.
Sounds shallow well I'm sorry what should I say.

I like the way you move me.
I like the way you know how to do me.
Like the way you know what's on my mind.

I like the way you shake it.
I love the way you don't have to fake it.

Knew right from the start it would be,
Dont you think that we too could be,
I'll bet anything that could be fine.

Just saw him at Humphrey's, an outdoor venue in San Diego last week. He put on a hell of a show and I was impressed not just by his and band's obvious talent but also his sense of showmanship. Lots of self-deprecating humor to get the fans warmed up and lots of great music! It seemed that most of his band has been together for 35+ years, and it shows, they are TIGHT!
This one really doesn't move me. Can't win them all.
This guy's music seems all the same.
he's a simply sexy role model for this aging fella (oh, it's getting close to nap time ... )
Chris on a Sunday with Standard Time - nice to hear.
That's a nice phone...
He has a great sense of humor in interviews.
Every time I am reminded of Chris I wonder how I let it be so long since last time.
Great line:  "Later"

I never get sick of Chris Isaak

I love his sound plus he's sexy, funny and charismatic, what more can you ask for?

Disappointed that I missed him on tour last year he really puts on a great show (even if the crowd is full of people like my mum )

How can a man with such a huge head be sexy, leave alone he's 5.2 max!
Sorry, but Isaaks - like Sting - lost his inspiration since at least 10, possibly already 15 years!
The guy lost his credibility - all his recent albums without inspiration!
Was I really your fan once, Chris?
i like your hair, chris isaak.
Yep, Yep, Yep :)
I have to admit, I thought the same thing too.  It's actually by Jace Everett.

Anyone watching True Blood, is the main song from Chris Isaak?  It's wonderful,

Unpossible.
Another Gem Bill!  Nice set of Tex Mex...  Thanks

Way to go, Bill! You\'ve pulled two in a row from my iPod!

Always swingin', that Chris. Was his TV series good? I was never able to see it.

Now why-o-why can't I find some good looking fitty-year-old hottie musician in MY neighborhood? Is that asking TOO MUCH??
AMEN Sistah!! I will be seeing him later this summer...mmmmmmmmmm.
His music's ok. Too smooth and contrived for my taste. Can't stand his "I'm so cool, I have a guitar with my own name on it" affectation..

Almost hating to admit - he's hot. 7 cuz this is his sexiest song, MHO

Fifty, schmifty. Still hot, and still an amazing singer/songwriter. On a related note, I am so glad we have RP to play all the talented singer/songwriter music we would never get to hear on ClearChannel.
I am out of my gourd but he is still 50! That is shocking. I had to look it up to believe it - I thought you were out of your gourd. He's the next Dick Clark or something.

Second Chris Isaak song in just a few hours. What's the deal?
It's the "commercial music" curse.

I never got the whole Elvismania thing. Had to be his looks. IMO if any Sun Records musician should have been famous it was Charlie Rich. WAY better singer, musician, and lyricist.

I dragged my boyfriend to a concert and he sort-of gloated about how nice he was to agree to go but he definately ended up really liking him and becoming a fan- we have seen him 3 times since. We are also big fans of "The Chris Isaak Show." Sure, he's a "chick-act" because he is painfully good looking, but has something to back it up with, he's a really great musician and music historian- and funny as Hell.
I agree, he's great in concert. He's really funny too. I've seen him a few times too, and the boyfriend, while he likes the music, is usually *sigh* .... and yep, Chris is easy on the eyes!
Chris Isaak. Good modern day Elvis Presley.
I think I'm gonna
"I met a girl who was half out of her mind, that's okay cause I'm half out of mine" Nice. This actually reminds me a lot of Morphine, at least before he kicks into the chorus...
This whole album is great - it's got a great groove and lots of either naughty or love-struck lyrics, with that smooth as silk voice...yum!

I can totally relate-his voice is so smooth and sexy....Talent and good coaching from Roy, along with killer looks...look where its gotten you!

More CI! A 9.
In the past, Chris Isaak hasn't caught my attention. There are a couple of songs I like, but nothing to really make me want to buy. This song really got my attention, and it sounds a little different from his other stuff. If I want to check him out, what songs/albums should I look at? bc
wow....I actully like a Chris Isaak song. He's not overdoing that voice thing on this one.

The poor man's Marshall Crenshaw.
this is a dirty, dirty song...
God, that voice! Yes!!!
I give it a 9 only in comparison to other Chris Isaak songs, otherwise a 10. Bill, play more from Forever Blue.

I'll have to watch that movie again just to see that! When I first saw the movie I had no idea who Chris Isaak was.
Great singer...and what other singer could get a cameo in \'Silence of the Lambs\'??
I like just about everything I\'ve heard of his.
Yea, Chris is the man.....great songwriter for sure. This is off my favorite album (4 years ago I think).

Having heard barely anything from Isaak, and what I did hear was all in the Roy Orbison(ala Wicked Games) mode, I have to say I think this sounds quite a bit different...though still has an early RnR sound, I guess. I like it.
To me all CI\'s songs sound pretty much the same. Still I like his style
