See my way, I'm the fortune teller
Picked up from earth two fallen feathers
These desperate stars are guiding me to better
My heart and soul, I wanted you forever
Holding hope in my hands, slips out like the desert sand
Like the signs that were binding us together

The truth, the truth, the ugly truth, let me live inside my pretty lie
I losе, I lose for loving you, in the darkness, all I'd do to makе you mine

Throwing rose petals in your direction
Warped and betrayed for your affection, uh
Lighting candles at the shrine, crying out to the divine
A lovers' spell longing for resurrection

The truth, the truth, the ugly truth, let me live inside my pretty lies
I lose, I lose for loving you, in the darkness, all I'd do to make you mine
Ooh, to make you mine

Long-gone lover left a note upon my door
Now the ghost that wanders through my house don't want me anymore
Words now spread across my walls like ashes on the floor
Fateful revelations that I never could ignore
I can't call no priest and witches, cut the rope and dig the ditches, kill my love
Screaming in the ether, my devotion like a fever, kill my love
I once believed the fantasy, so helpless to your pull
So rest in peace the memory, you're not safe for my soul
Drive a nail in the coffin now before I lose control
Put this lover six feet down and let the bones grow cold
And put my heart back in a box and draw a circle in the salt, then kill my love
You took me to the edge and pushed me from our sacred ledge and killed my love

See my way, I'm the fortune teller
See my way, I'm the fortune teller
The truth, the truth, the ugly truth, let me live inside my pretty lie
I lose, I lose for loving you, in the darkness, all I'd do to make you mine

From the “About” section of her website:

“When we started working on this record I asked myself, ‘What are my superpowers?’ I wanted to lean into my strengths in a way I never completely had before, to make a big guitar album with some epic performances and really sing my ass off,” she says. “I ended up pouring so much emotion into all the songs, and I hope they help people feel fired up and ready to take on anything that comes their way. I’d love for this record to be somebody’s jet fuel.

Well done, Ms Fish, well done.

This woman is 100% bad-ass. Good lord she rips and wails.
Samantha absolutely rips!
What a voice! Sort of reminds me of a female Hozier, has that throaty, resonant quality that is totally intriguing. Guitar is pretty cool too.
Woah! Thought that was 2 songs. The middle part was classic Samantha blues rock. I like the additional moody sounds. Can't wait to hear it again and listen closer from the beginning.
Two words.

Fie. Er.🔥🔥🔥
Have appreciated Samantha's guitar playing for some time but haven't heard much of her vocals.  Liking this!
Better than that godawful "Hello Stranger" remake.
Nice!!
I love this!  I had no idea it was Samantha Fish.
FREAKIN' AWESOME
That is right smack dab in the middle of my “jam” zone. Great, googly moogly.
