The light is fading now
My soul is running on a path that I can not reach
My brain is turning and my head is hurting
Everyday a little bit more

The light is fading now
My force is being sucked by a bloody leech
My fear is smiling and my dread is singing
Every night a little bit more
I can not see anything
I am blindfolded

I can hear the birds
I can see them fly
I can see the sky

I can hear the birds
I can see them fly
I can see the sky
It's about to cry

I'm a zombie
I don't know what to do
I should be hidden in a place
But I gotta stay stay stay, stay stay stay STAY
I'm so lonely
I don't know if I'll get through
I wanna be floating in space
But I gotta stay stay stay, stay stay stay STAY

I can hear the birds
I can see them fly
I can see the sky

I can hear the birds
I can see them fly
I can see the sky
It's about to cry

I can hear the birds
I can see them fly
I can see the sky

I can hear the birds
I can see them fly
I can see the sky
It's about to cry

I can hear the birds
I can see them fly
I can see the sky

I can hear the birds
I can see them fly
I can see the sky
It's about to cry

I can hear the birds
I can see them fly
I can see the sky

I can hear the birds
I can see them fly
I can see the sky
It's about to cry

I was thinking Dido.  And that's not a bad thing.
sounds a little like traci thorn with a cold.

Absolutely incredible, the power of this song! Still takes my breath away, every time... Lovely guitar beginning, then the stellar vocals -- at times almost channeling Amy -- and wow, just a stunning soundscape in this!

I  Agree!  GREAT TUNE!  Great Voice!  I don't know why so many commenters are all bent out of shape about her physical appearance.  I am 69yrs old & I like the tune, I am not trying to marry her!

She looks like a thug. And comparison to Winehouse is insulting to Amy.

Normally I try not to feed the trolls, but in this case I will make an exception because to allow something like this to go unchallenged is tacit acceptance.

What do you mean by "thug?" Is it her tattoo? Can't be, if you're an Amy Winehouse fan. Her direct eye contact? Can't be that either, since Amy Winehouse was directly confrontational in everything she did. The fact that she doesn't look like the typical pretty girl singer? Can't be that, because Amy Winehouse didn't fit that mold either. So what's the problem here? I honestly would like to know.

Can't think of a more flattering mistake to make.

If we must compare, it sounds more like Adele to me. Anyway, I really like it a lot. A 9 at least.
Thump-thump-thump-thump...
'Buy yourself a car...'
dunno what came first though...
.
(i know it's not the same, just a bit similar, ok)
Every time I hear this, I rush in to see who it is and give it another point.  Up to a 9 now.   Killer voice.
Yes!

Amy Winehouse? Nah. Bajka. But not her either. I like this much. 8 on first hearing.

Me 2...on both accounts!

Agree.
grande voce grande ritmo - proprio una bella canzone sempre piacevole da ascoltare - grazie Radio Paradise ...il paradiso della musica
RadioParadise plays a balance of women artists. Who would think of that? What a concept. Appreciate. Open your ears, heads and hearts. Drop your attitudes.

Hear what you are hearing. Not what you already think you know, what you already think, you know?

You're welcome.

Thank you RP.

debería cantar en francés
The singer reminds me of  Béatrice Martin. Lovely song...

Wikipedia says that Tristan was born in Nice and that "he is best known for his 2014 single "Fade Out Lines", a deep house rework of a song by Phoebe Killdeer & The Short Straws."

Surprise: Phoebe herself was born next door in Antibes!
In the midst of another Covid surge, I just upped this rom 7 to 8.  Lyrics resonate and melody lifts me today.

I thought it was Adele
Imagine Adele and Bjork had a love child. This is she.
The transition from "Rapture Riders" was a work of art. Just amazing.
Amy Winehouse? Nah. Bajka. But not her either. I like this much. 8 on first hearing.

Edited to add that this grabs me every time it comes around. Trending toward a 9.

Edited again to add that yes, it is a 9 for me.
Iused to work out to this track in the company gym in Saudi Arabia back in 2015
