Stupid story about this song, but I still have the driving desire to share it. Back in the 1980's I was on a flight from Australia to Hawaii. The "rock" selection of the in-flight music service (remember those tube earphones!) looped every 30 minutes and included the Tom Petty version of this song. So I heard it a dozen or more times during that flight. The amazing thing is that I don't hate this song, still love it to this day, despite the repeated initial listen.
