Why have I not heard of him until just now?!?!

Call me shocked...Mr. Bird here has 27 songs listed on RP...interesting.  That's a rather large sample for a somewhat lesser known semi-folk artist...

And that's the joy of listening to the RP gang's choices...makes one realize that other options exist...that there's more world out there than one normally considers...thanks guys, an aha! moment and a coffee and the rain coming down...well done!

Thank you for expressing what I feel and have trouble forming...
cool, jazzy piece
The Bird can do no wrong ♥️
Just feels like I need to be on board the International Space Station, replete in Tux with martini in hand watching the world spin by…just sayin.
I love this song when the drummer lays off those cymbals! Unfortunately, that's in the final few seconds of the song.

I’m not sure what I love more- his intellectual sciency lyrics or his whistling and speaking- so sexy man!

Sigh, another cutesie artist trying to be clever, but actually coming off as rehashing long gone music from past. While it would be nice for the puckelo to be some far out part of ensembles and garner some recognition, it remains a throw back to the ‘50’s, and that plus his cursive singing make this one too maudlin.

Never heard of a "puckelo" - can you provide some more information, please?
And what if the moon begins to wane before it waxes?

Somehow that makes so much sense.  Doesn't it?

Doesn't it?

Yes, the site is very eclectic and seems to give lesser-known artists a breath of work. Which is fair.
Love this guy. He should do a duet with Molly Lewis, the whistler. Love her too. I think they'd get a long well...musically speaking.

He's got it going on! I like his work a lot more when he's simply jazzy, vulnerable, and casually dazzling...

This is good… ya agreed

My wife brought me to a concert of his here in Richmond, Va. and had no idea what to expect.  I am easily impressed with people who have mastered their craft.  No  one sounds like him, at least to my ears.  How he does what he does and where it comes from is a mystery to me.  The concert was basically just him.   I was just awestruck as to what I was seeing.  Not everyone's cup of tea but he sure was a sight to behold, been a fan every since.

Andrew Bird can't do wrong. He just gets it so right.
The Album before was called "My Finest Work so far" i think. But this is also very fine! Starting  with an 8!
Well, at first I did not notice this. But then, it grabbed me. Very nice, great lyrics, easy and intriguing to the ears.
Mmm, interesting!
